Expanding my musical horizon....

A few months back, some dude at a forum that I frequent to introduced me to Rory Gallagher. After listening to his songs, I was instantly hooked. The guy was so awesome, I just had to delve deeper into the world of blues.

So for the past few months, I have been attending guitar classes, specifically learning more about the some blues and jazz tricks to expand my musical horizon. I have been learning quite a bit of theory as well, hoping that this newly gained knowledge will help me in creating new sounds in the musical chaos known as rock and roll.

So, with that said, I am hoping 2008 will feature a rebirth of Daniel Yahya, a redefinition of what is heavy metal is all about...
