Notes or note sheets indicate the pitch and length or duration of every note in a song.
Tabs (Guitar) determine the position of every note in the guitar fret board but it does not determine the durat ...

It sounds muddy and twangy at the same time.

Many Bass players are forced to use a guitar string for back up if they dont have a bass string. Its not that good of a mix.
