finally my guitar has given up on me...i guees i couldnt take any more abuse from me...
Anyway all it needs is a complete re-wire...anyone here can tell me where i can get some proper guitar spares...i bought some today only to find that they wont mount on my guitar (the pots)
I'm looking for a couple of 25K concentric pots (for the volume and tone controls) and a 0.14 microfarad capacitor...
Do Bentley or any other guitar shop supply the spares i need?? because im using an active pickup the wiring and parts aree slightly different to your normal passive pickups....
PLEASE HELP i need to play guitar!!! |

hi ridzi,
I have send my guitar to Tham in PJ, his fret work is excellent and this guy really knows his stuff. Bout electrical knowledge I guess he is quite competent coz he managed to salvaged my half dead Aria ( bear in mind my aria was a total lost) but i guess some TLC and some magic touch brought it to life. I am using the aria now for some solo work but still use the les paul as my riff guitar.
price is quite reasonable... i guess it is good to check-out with him first and see his workmanship then you can decide (hehehe its your baby man) ... what i know he ordered his parts from australia, quite a humble person for a very tech savy luther.
his contact is 012-2350670 in PJ old town just mentioned Faris

I have called aound...
And what can i say about it? f**k man, every single person I ring up are trying to strangle blood out of you.
For f**k sake the parts only cost about RM50.00 plus 15 minutes of labour...and for that these bastards here are charging like RM300 just to install a couple of pots.
What a bunch of overcharging cunts!!!!
I guess it cheaper for me to order the parts my self from the USA, which will cost me RM70.00 including shipping. I installed them myself the last time...i guess i will have to do it myself again.
take it from me malaysian luthiers/musicsshops/sellers/etc..etc are a bunch of fucktards Oh I hope someone prooves me wrong because im sick and tied of the general attitude of these people who assume that we dont fucking know anything about the products that we use.
