Illegal VCD/DVD is now back in pasar malam...why???

Did it ever went away in the first place? Actually if they really are serious about curbing the piracy problem in malaysia, it is not that difficult to put into action. What they need to do is start punishing shopping complex owners that allows these pirates to sell their pirated goods openly. For example, try to go to BErjaya Times Square, bersepah-sepah pirate DVD shops, takde sapa nak ambil tindakan (infact it is more difficult to find original stuff). Kalau the complex landlords are m ore strcit on their tenants, lest they will be punished along with the pirates, i think the piracy problem can be reduced greatly.

Well, I am not sure about KL city centre. In PJ, some time last year...for about 1-2 months I could not find any illegal VCD at pasar malam (referring to pasar malam at Tmn Megah and the one near FAM)...well...it lasted 1-2 months only...Smile

I guess, they give some money to the govt people so that they won't take any action. Or they are lazy enough to do their job. Corruption..

Kids nowadays are so lucky. I still remember searching for public phone under the hot sun around Bukit Bintang when my friend turned up more than an hour late due to massive traffic jam. The phones in Lot 10 had long queues because it's sheltered and probably the only ones which are functioning. I went to the ones in front of Bukit Bintang Plaza (there used to be public phones there at those food stalls that are ripping people off at Bkt Bintang Walk)...all the public phones were either damaged or makan duit ones. I walked across the road...entire row of phones had the same fate....damn frustrating....

Those were the lousy old days...

Uncle Siang, those were the golden days. Now everybody know where everybody is and i cant hide anymore.

Sommore, ppl purposely speak loudly in cinemas and other places where they put sign to switch off hphone. Should do like some places in Australia..put signal dampers in cinemas. Go in straight away no signal..
