GarageBand for Mac is a part of the iLife'04 upgrade package for Mac OS X Jaguar.Retail price is around RM100-RM150.(im not sure 'coz i bought it at Australia)

Garageband is a home recording tool that is so useful,esp. if u wanna imagine the song structure,just by using some of the pre-set tunes in the library.
There is no MIDI authoring tool,however you can record MIDI via USB keyboard (not computer keyboard!) or MIDI keyboard with MIDI interface.It can deliver realistic sound in MIDI such as screaming lead guitar or warm mellow piano.

overall,this stuff is very easy to use plus its damn cheap and it delivers high quality output.
