Just wanna consult...

Is there any difference between an expensive tuner and a cheap tuner
Since tuner is to tune the guitar to the correct tone...... but is there really any difference???

and what tuner would you recommend me within RM100 which is good @ price/performance ratio..

Thanks Smile

the difference is the accuracy of the tuner.. and how quick it can inteprate what note we play... there are two types, AUTOMATIC and CHROMATIC. i'm not sure about auto, but chromatic tuner can tune low-tuned or 7-string guitars, up to an octave down.. whereas the auto is just for standard tuning.. correct me if i'm wrong. Wink

by the way i'm using Korg GT3, it's an auto tuner.. so far, it's easy to tune and quite accurate. i'm happy with it since i always use standard tuning.. hehe.. got it 2nd hand from eBay for about RM100 (includes shipping).

but i read so far, KORG DT-10 is the most accurate tuner of all.. and it's like RM300+ just for a tuner pedal? is it worth it? hmm..

but if you're budgeting RM100 for a tuner, i'd suggest you wait for Behringer's TU-100 tuner pedal.. it's a clone of Boss TU-2 pedal, so i'd say it has just as the same tuning capability as the Boss..

Thanks for the info.....
I previously was using the Zoom 505II Multi-Effect as my tuner and as I have sold it .... I wish to get a tuner only.. anyway.. I felt that the Zoom 505-II's tuner is not so accurate. I might be wrong....

Well, if that's the case. I think I will go search for the Behringer Smile
