you're getting the MacBook Pro or the iMacs??

basically , get and audio interface , softwares to run (Logic Express maybe...) . monitor speakers , mics , MIDI controllers....and everything else that you might need.

Entry level wan ar.... get the iMac ar... it's damn cun already... Running Intel Core Duo...

But to do graphics , it will slow down abit on the Mac platform because Adobe have not release a 'Universal' version for their softwares. The latest Macs need the universal version because they are using Intel chipsets now... older software have to go through a process called 'Rosetta' to convert whatever you're doing on the Adobe softwares (basically Rosetta is a conversion stage between the software and the processor) When Adobe releases CS3 , it will skip that Rosetta part... then it will run on it's Intel Core Duo speed..

And you can run windows now... and its not using the Mac OS to run Windows XP.. it's Booting up straight from WIndows.. Smile

anyway , the 17'' iMac will cost you RM 5299... quite reasonable price.. Smile
