Have anyone seen the intro of Cicak Man? My friend showed me, it seems interesting and not as shitty as I thought. The special effect is quite nice...some scenes remind me of Batman. |

that's great man..taking into difference in budget between msian's cicakman (RM2.0 mil) and hollywood's spiderman (USD20 million+) ...budget beza macam langit dgn bumi tu...tu belum convert USD tu RM lagi tu...
actually Msia nak buat cerita gempaq budget 100 juta boleh kot and perhaps can do quality stuff on par with hollywood with that kind of budget...tapi aku rasa sure tak berbaloi to invest in this magnitude amount coz collection total panggung kat malaysia sure tak leh cover cost ni...heheh...dgn cinemas kita yg berapa ketul tu, maximum capacity berapa je kan?
perhaps we need lots and lots more cinemas huh?
btw - Cicakman ni bila release head to head dgn Cinta....aku kroni Cinta...so korang pergilah tgk Cinta dulu 2, 3 kali then baru layan Cicakman ok...haha |

Sometimes low budget production could generate good movies too - depend on the director, cameraman, actors, the story and creativity I believe. |

1st of all, sorry, this movie is the worst of the worst!!!No,i dont compare Malaysia films to other country's.There are many more good Malaysian films.I cant believe i took my girlfriend to see this piece of CRAP!(i used to go to the movies for Malaysian made films, bcoz i love the movies, and i want to support M'sia films.)...and she decided to sleep in the theater halfway thru the movie. We do have our own unique culture and stuff, but why the hell go sell-out and copy others while not having any art/movie sense, maturity, logics, points at all??????C'mon,i think this is worst than those 80s hong kong lowly 'comedies'.I know its just another attempt to show that 'M'sia boleh',but this movie just show more of why our nation is so f*cked-up!!!u expect this to sell?u think this is what the Malaysian audience want?Shyt!!!how long are we going to ever learn and catch-up?... |
