Guys, it seems that our promised "unlimited" bandwith is not unlimited after all! I don't understand why people would put limit to something that they say is unlimited. marketing stratergy? If they say I can use 30gigs a month.. I'll definately try and make it so that i-bands will not go over that limit! But when I got the "green light" .. I will step on the accelerator and shift it to high gear lah!!
anyway.. this is not permanent. But it's gonna take some time.
everytime i-bands is down.. it'll be back online with more features and more things to offer. The next time I'll post and say hey the audio is back up, it's gonna be a brand new and fuken better i-bands! marah ni. Me and Sam are going to do this all the way and we're not going to back out now.
anyway.. we're using 1-2MB per seconds! freakin hell! independent music rule!! gila la lu orang haha
later guys! sorry ya.

Yeah...just take this as a temporary set back... what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!!
Im definitely sticking around... anyway here is a cheeky suggestion...why not we 'serbu' funender...host our songs there...and create our own thread over there...If we keep a few threads on the very top of the Funender website, people will know that we Malaysians mean business!!
Lagipun...aku bukan nak kutuk la...tapi aku ingatkan lagu2 kat funender tu power la....tapi aku takde dengar yang quality dia setanding ngan quality band2 yang ade kat i-bands. |

hehe tula.. aku pun rasa camtu gak. mula2 aku dengar cam best jer sume. tapi kat i-bands pastu lagi banyak plak orang upload yg lagi best. and aku rasa past few weeks ni mmg most uploaded songs kat sini bagus bagus! makin lama makin gila ah quality diorang nih. tu yg makin naik bandwidth agaknya haha. but it's a very positive sign lah. I'm happy & keciwa at the same time.
tapi aku kena pikir jugak camner aku nak sustain i-bands ni. makin lama nampaknya makin costly nih.
hopefully plan2 yg akan aku execute nanti ni menjadi la. tapi kalau besok2 korang jalan2 kat KL ..ada nampak dua orang mamat(satu besar satu comel) dok sibuk jaga kereta utk parking .... tu maknanya kitaorang fail la tu haha

one u thing u can do is disable streaming , enable downloading of songs je..maybe kena tukar some codes here n there ..but i'm not sure how much reduction of bandwidth it'll be..anyway nak besarkan bandwidth senang je..hantar pi urut kat dazelman..heh heh...

I was just gonna d/l some songs and then suddenly *. Harapan kecewa.
since the labour & expertise is free, and that's a great thing, are there some kind of hosting fees involved? Well if you could figure out a way to charge a nominal fee for uploads... downloads should be free though

in the meantime, aku nak update mySpace & Soundclick accounts aku la... plus my band's websites pon tak update2 since aku join i-bands nih.. hehehe... ini la masa utk take break from i-bands, do your normal stuff, etc...
but mySpace limit up to 4 songs, whereas Soundclik is unlimited!! what the hell?? orait..! go check it out man, tapi banyak hip-hop bands la kat sana.. heheh....

hey guys, thanks! u know what? it may not be such a long wait after all. I've found a nice service provider with lotsa expansion options. And they can give us enough bandwith and space for the price of..slightly higher than what we're paying our current we-give-you-unlimited-bandwith-for-sure provider.
so i think we'll be back serving audio ..next month.
I have to transfer all the files from here to the new home and the audio files are like more than 1 gig! that's going to take some time to FTP!!
yeah for the time being... lets serbu soundclick, funender, mp3.com.au and don't forget .. myspace! (add me add me : freako@malscene.net)
erotomania : hehe sorry dude. well I'm planning to do an account upgrade option where perhaps if u guys need extra space.. u can upgrade it to a much bigger one with a small monthly donation.
