bro..ble specific skit kedai mane ade tubes?alamat ar kalo ade..aku tiap2 mgu pegi sane tapi tak jumpe kedai yg ade jual tubes.maybe salah kedai kot..sbb byk kedai kn.
and kalu ade yg jaul transformer(pt and ot) lagi cun..

aku rasa ko elok pergi jumpa nik kalau ko nak transformer (op atau pt)utk tube amps. tubes pon dia banyak, cuma dia tak buat repairs. aku dapatkan info dan post kat ibands.

Aku pernah beli 2 bijik 6L6 tubes kat situ.... Kedai tu kalau x silap aku, kedai no 3 atau 4 dari hujung kedai nyonya jual air soya bean. Depan traffic light. (Kedai tu sebelah kiri kalau ko masuk dari Masjid Alam Shah, depan kedai Motor Kean Nam) 
Tapi kalau ko nak yg ada kualiti, mutu, keunggulan, mungkin ko kena contact Nik, member Browndog tu....

kalau mau variety kat mahogany pj ada slevatna (2 biji tak silap aku rm 380, pergh!) , grooves tubes dan mesa boogie matched pair pun ada. pricing ko kena siasat la...aku pakai mudah jee..(price vs salary vs tone) maybe ada variety for you there if price does not matter.

mesa boogie pn kuar tubes ke?ke rebranding jer..
vriety mmg ada ..tapi aku kurang gemar kalu dikelepet.kelepet skit2 tu biase ar.bisnes.ini sampei 200%keatas.
example ar..aku tanye match tubes kat junction amp.(micheal)dier jual el34 matched baru 125rm..yg sampai 380 tu..tak kelepet ke?

i never bought anything from there, if you not agreeable to the price (like i always do..heh! heh! heh!), or you feel suspicious, as a buyer, you'll be smart enough to make own decision..ha ha ha!
sometimes i rather buy something from somebody that i trusted better for his work, tested and reviewed, not only by pros, but many walks of life. i have a 'no no' perception towards who is cheaper or that kind of crap. i must have the believe, or at least, mutual understanding that i'm having a win-win situation when service is involved. that includes after sales warranty and point to point (back to back) professional comment(s).
i have met many people that say that they are good in 'this or that' etc. trying to put up the impression that they are 'happening' bla bla bla. same goes to propagandas that no matter how you do it, it will go the other way round (kempen 'tak nak!') we asians have this culture to keep themselve low profile and at the same time comparing themselves to the western world domination. so, how we represent ourself is very important. this 'too cautious, or having 'phobia' that we must do this because it is a 'fail proof' execution indeed won't anticipate any failure because we plan not to fail. (macam pernah dengar je!) at the same time, this will kill the 'excitement' and the desire to 'experiment'. that's why we have so many copies around..we are afraid of risk! so we wait what 'quailo' do first la and see what happen next!...ahaks!
as for tubes, i myself having a gala headache, experimenting, comparing brands, tone and the sound that i like. i always said to myself, this is something to do with preference, what seems good to you might not be so good to others..(same goes to what we say sometimes..) we are not always right, and you might not alway be wrong...or vice versa..
some people can get away to do a good job without feelings or what so ever....some people have 'golden ears' or 'midas touch'. some might backfire like fairy tales...some grows with real life experience and disaster, so to speak.
my friend went to los angeles few years back, and he managed to meet up with mr. ngwie himself....'hi, my name is ngwie, i'm the best guitarist in the world!...' with a firm handshake and fury in the eyes....guess how my friend replied politely in 'malay' with full of smiles on his face....tit..tit..tit..tiiiit! (censored la bro..) ha ha ha ha!
ok, ok! i'm straying la bro, alright,..what was that? oh ya, tubes..beli lah mana2 ko nak beli, as long as it suits you best! ha ha ha ha! 'bon voyage!'

aku pon terjebak gak dulu, no guidance, duit habis banyak etc. etc...part frustration tu malas lah nak cerita. anyway, at the end of the day, result is very2 unsatisfactory...this is a real cruel part of the world as well, believe me, in your own country. (or elsewhere too..)
some of my good comrades that can really2 play pon, in real life, suffer the most...i, sometimes pity them because i'm unable to help them...the only way out is to help yourself..when you suffer and nobody is giving, (not because of 'kedekut' la bro, diorang pon ada commitment!..) no most sad feeling in life is not that you can't play good, it's the most beloved family have to suffer because of your decision. imagine if you have children and you can't feed them...
to me, my family comes first....the rest can wait! main guitar boleh berhenti dan jual, you can't do this to your family right?
ps: your are correct, i'm a tube junkie..ha ha ha ha!
