Mnatang ni flexible enough tak? Any issues? Basically ape yang aku nak is fender-ish clean ngan enough gain without pedals, takpun put screamer cam ts808 dah cukup to cover hard rock sounds. Aku tak main metal. Kalau ikut hati memang nak bli JVM je sebab lagi flexible, tapi sebab baru sangat sampai takde lagi yang used kat ebay so baik la aku settle down yang ni dulu. Sampaikan pendapat anda kayh. Sure banyak orang sini gune head nih kan?

Wah takde pendapat langsung, bukan mende ni banyak ke jam studio and all? hurm..
Anyway, any suggestion of a good attenuator other than the THD hotplate?

Personally aku kenal sorang je yg pakai amp ni, org lain aku x tau & studio arnd KL ni aku x tau la ade ke x. But ive played both the DSL 50 & 100. The DSL100 is cleaner la, sbb lg byk headroom. But the DSL50 crunch is ballsier la, lg punchy. I played it with the stock cabinets, the one with the Greenbacks. The crunch is quite versatile, easily cover anything btw blues rock or AC/DC to Maiden/Priest stuff. Theres a switch that gives it a modern tone. I think the cleans r pretty Marshall la, x de la clean sgt. Not sure if u can get Fenderish cleans, kalo tukar speaker lain, something with higher rating, maybe dia x breakup sgt la.
Personally i think THD Hotplate is good enuff la, unless u want something custom made...

Hey dufresne thanks for the reply. My statement was totally based on what my friend told me about. Having at least a marshall tube combo for a studio in KL does sound believable to me  . Back in the days it was always either the MG's or if you're lucky the AVT  Well I don't live in KL, my bad.
How would you comment on the gain, is it enough to cover a heavy and tightly compressed lead without any pedals at the front? The JVM seems to do this nicely from the clips I heard somewhere else. Not sure where I can find a raw clip of the dsl 50 though.
My mentioning of the THD's was meant to look for a cheaper option 
And apology for my lack of knowledge or any misinformation, I'm seriously new to all these 'real amps'! hehe

Aiyak... aku bkn nak jadi Hiro Nakamura dlm Heroes, not here to save the day, just here to help...
Listen to The Donnas "Take If Off". That track is exactly how a LP with a DSL sounds like. I think the gain on that track is almost max, x igt sgt la. Marshall to me slalunye mmg compressed, kalo compare dgn amp lain mmg a little too compressed la, should not be any problem with that. Of course kena tgk setup gitar mcm ne, Strat with single coils maybe susah sket...
Also, Jeff Beck is using this amp, it should be good la, hehe...

Nak berkongsi excitement!
Tu bukan kepala dia, kepala betul minggu depan baru sampai hehe
Tapi mantap lah mg10cd ni, aku seriously impressed! Mg30dfx aku dulu langsug tak sedap (without some overdrive pedals etc).
Anyway 1936cab ni saje yang aku mampu bli sebab 1960 tu besar sangat! Yang ni pun dah cukup gedabak dah. Nampak gaya macam kena beli hotplate je..

okla amp ni.
Tadi aku set volume dekat2 ngan jam 12, bergegar la sikit flat aku ni, tu pun 5 minit je sebab takut polis datang hehe.
Enough distortion if you ask, more than what i'd need. Most basic sound yang aku after setakat ni dah dapat. Bunyik die memang bunyik marshall yang aku dah familiar with, 800,plexi, all there. Memang itupun yang aku nak.
Tapi aku nak puji clean channel dia la. Nothing like 'clean marshall' yang aku penah dengar seblom ni. Very crisp and clear. Kalau cucuk acoustic pon boleh ni.
So secara tak langsungnye amp ni sangat versatile, yet not compromising any specific tones yang ko cari.
Ala, janji rock! hehe
