Hello bro semua. Saya cadang nak upgrade pickup gitar fender mexico saya kepada fender texas special. Gitar saya tu body dia kayu ash. sound stock pickup tu terlalu nipis utk selera saya. saya nak pickup fender yang banyak midrange. nice clean & distort. so sesapa yang pernah test/guna pickup ni tolong ler bagi input. tq.  |

fretted bro,
aku dah tukar 3 kali last time, same texas special. 1 i got from bently. 1 i got from a friend of mine. dan satu lagi aku dapat dari guitar gg (taken from aji's strat).
beza dia, 1) the first 2 tu logo custom shop dia silver dan lagi satu chrome (he got it from LA, if i'm not mistaken) 2) the first 2 gila babi punya tight bass, tight midrange dan highs very...hmmm! in other words, sengau!) aji's one is a bit loose but the high's still unacceptable to me! sengau still maintain....hmmmm!
amp aku try,
1) marshall jcm 100
2) ceriatone jtm 45 (gz34 rectifier)
3) fender hot rod deluxe
4) marshall mosfet 100
5) marshall valvestate 65watts
6) fender bandmaster 66
7) fender bassman 70s
conclusion,
a) jari srv + NO 1 + 808 + vibroverb cesar diaz + other amps + feel dia tweak all these, baru dapat srv's killer tone...imagine bila pickup tu dia eq untuk dapat all these serentak! pergh! ini je komen aku boleh bagi..ini aku punya opinion laaa...maybe slightly differ from other people, just a matter of tastse..
b) related to the above, amp kena blast nak dapat sweet spot (breakup), jawabnye 9.30 to 10.30. bila bawah 9 aje, bunyi macam cipot! tak ada punch dan energy nak drive the damn speakers! bini aku bising setiap kali aku ngetes amp dan guitar! dapat la 5 ke 10 minutes, tak la kempunan telor tembakul tu....ha ha ha!
c) tengah aku pakai pickup tu, member aku beli custom shop 69, terus kapak guitar aku...ha ha ha ha! sedih habis!.....oleh itu, aku cari 69 sampai sekarang tak dapat dan nak control macho konon, aku tukar la strat lefty pickups, staggered terbalik macam jimi...pergh! sedap lak! sampai sekarang aku pakai laaa...
d) personally aku suka 69, either on maple or rosewood...i've tried arwah m shariff's guitar kat ali guitar collection. usa v series 90s kot, pergh! standard aje dah srv killer tone! (ash body, pao ferro looking neck dan nitro paint job kot!) it's the construction of the guitar itself dah cukup menawan dari segi looks dan tone..
overall, try dulu, maybe it suits you not me. aku coment on the basis benefit of the doubt je! the rest is history!

aku pernah pakai texas special. Mmg byk mid, tp treble harmonic dia byk sgt. Mid dia pun jenis mid yg solid dan bukan jenis mid yg transparent. Kalau nak byk midrange pd frequency yg sedap didengar, cuba la custom shop 69.
