heh..thanks, but honestly, i dunno how great it is in others opinion, but for me, it;s good enuf because the most important thing i can straightly plugged my guitar to the card without using any converter (those from bigger size jack to smaller size jack).. heh Very Happy

Hi, i am using this at the moment...

Infrasonic amon, nothing fancy about it... usb powered... the preamps for mic sucks big time. voice tends too be very soft, even when i turn up the whole gain thing up. Even on bass this happens. Need something in between mic/bass and interface to boost the signals up. No problems with guitar tracks tho.

Good for live records. No noticeable delays... Well, thats about it... tho i noticed i have problems if i have like 8 tracks of guitars running on Guitar Rig 3 mixed in Cubase... the sound juz sorta.. well.. no sounds... so my recordings seem to be limited to only a few tracks, for anything that need to run on GR3. Not sure if its my pc configuration prioblem or the interface, but my bet goes to the interface..huhu.. Bought it for RM550 from midi specialist.

Sorry for my newbie comments. Might not sound so well. Sometimes i get lost on some of the terms u guys use in audio recordings and song reviews.. hehe, tho i am here to learn. Very Happy

can check this through RME - http://www.rme-audio.de/en_index.php

Great value for converter, feature, driver and stability, can check at Midi as well. I think they have one unit for demo at the moment.

Check out the Fireface series...

Cubase LE4 is a OEM version from Cubase 4

some technical info about Cubase LE4:
1) support up to 48 audio track ( Cubase studio 4 / 4 is unlimited layer)
2) support up to 48 midi track ( Cubase studio 4 / 4 is unlimited layer)
3) come with HalianOne VST ( yamaha motif sound sample)

5) this is origianal software, do you need to register at Steinberg.net web site. or it will only run for 30 days or 3000 times which ever come first

so, now you have better reason to use original software

I am using my Digitech RP250 USB interface and also my AC97 soundcard. So far bunyi macam ok gak.

My setup

Guitar -> Digitech RP250 USB -> PC -> Reaper -> EZDrummer

So far Digitech 250 punya noise gate is very good. Dulu I pakai direct using the 1/8 (or 1/4) jack to my line-in and process using various VSTs tapi very noisy ..

Aku ada 2 soundcard.. Echo Gina 24 bit dan Audiotrak Maya MKII. Buat masa nie aku cucuk kat Maya... Ingatkan nak guna dua-dua soundcard simultaneously, tapi Mayaku tak suka kat Gina.. jadi kenlah disablekan Ginaku..

my setup = Guitar -> Maya -> Sonar 5
