U mean the function?
for example:

Tks a lot,4sure i do need this thing..normally how much the selling price..so far i never use this DI Box juz tap directly fr.mixer to PC soundcard. Is it will give better sound? Surprised

If you mixer output is balance signal than I don't this will help.

BTW, U using which sound card.......

DI box, start from RM 200 +++

Im not very sure which model of soundcard but its only have 1 line input,1output n 1aux..i think the law ya one..hehehe...its it recomended to using the DI BOX?

if the mixer output is balanced should be okay la no need DI box..tapi what kind of stuff you connect to your mixer?mics? connect guitar straight?

Basicly wut i did is fr.mic juz connected to the mixer n goes to the soundcard..pls correct me if i wrong..never tried b4 connect directly guitar to the mixer but ive tried guitar direct goes to the soundcard..the sounds come out very2 terrible man..any idea..? Cool

i think mic-mixer-soundcard no need DI oredi.
tapi kalau guitar-Soundcard kena ada DI in between to balance the signal..

hey..tks bro..very usefeul info..really apprecite it..anyway am i right that that we have to adjust the input level of the mixer..noramlly what setting do u guys prefer..pls...i mean the gain,bass,treble,or etc...tks.

Nope actually its for our studio..theres a ska band have done their recording here but then it was disspointed by the trumpet itself..!!! i cant imagine the sounds...so lowsy man...!!!!

Having problems in recording trumpet and flute sounds for a band? Recording is not something to difficult once you understand the basics of it. Could you explain in detail what equipment you use and what are the steps that you take when you record?

Tks for ur attention man..it was juz a really simple and basic instruments we have here..we based on cakewalk software...normally we did live recording only..that means all instruments will be played together..in the past recording we did without any flute instrument the sounds is juz nice and not too bad..but then when we try to record this trumpet the sounds comeout like hell..and its not sound like trumpet but..???no idea bout this..huhuh..we juz put 2mic of sm58 go thru mixer with phantom power and direct to the soundcard..pls be noticed this is 4 live recording only..i need ur idea out there..juz new in this field...help me..tks a lot..
