ermm..rahsia aku ni ajeep sorang je yg tau (steady la ko jeep..bior pecah di perot..nasib baik tak pecah perot ko) ..hahaha ok lah...aku bagi tau skarang...pasal international tu, sebenarnye aku dah sign a development deal dgn satu indie label kt uk..dorang tengah merangka all the promo plans le nih..dorang kata end january ni baru nak mula antor the singles kt other labels, radio stations, management co., dan lain2 lah..they will try to get the songs aired in uk dulu...dorang akan buat press release gak la termasuk la kt sini..dorang akan try push aku kt UK, Europe and US...buat mula2 ni singles tu in the download dock la...pas tu tengok la respons mcm mana..kalu ok bole release album terus..
part of the promo period tu termasuk la perform kt some places yg dorang dah bagi the list kt aku...tu lambat lagi la kot...tapi kalu tiba2 je dorang suruh datang pening gak aku...nak cuti mcm mana keje baru start kt sini..
dorang kata kalu co. dorang besor dorang nak sign aku terus je tp pasal kecik, dia tolong develop je la dulu...tp kalu respons bagus mgkin sign up terus dgn dorang..and they won't stop me if there's another label nak aku...tapi manager aku (hahaha siap dah ada manager) tu pun gatal jugak nak set up his own indie label kt sana walaupun dia tak tau sangat pasal menda ni...
aku segan nak cakap awal2 sbb takut tak jadik je...now since all the 5 songs yg dorang nak tu dah selamat sampai kt opis dorang, aku lega sikit la..kira boleh kot menda tu jalan end january..silap2 awal sikit..huhh tak tau la aku..
tapi lepas all those promos and exposures still tak laku jugak, aku puas ati gak la sbb the songs dah lepas ke sana and all promo activities handled by an indie label yg based kat sana...best gak kan?

He he he...actually walaupun ko tak nak cakap awal2, aku dah agak dah something like this would have already been arranged 
To get big, you need talent and you need luck...you already got the talent for sure...just hope that luck is on your side
I agree that other musicians should have the confidence to try to break into the overseas market...if you're not lucky enough for it to go your way, at least you know you tried it!
Your attitude and drive should be exemplary to many other very talented musicians here on i-bands.
Aku punya dilemma pun macam kau juga...ada from US(notice the credit for my banner) and Europe(tapi UK tarak)...but they all want you to be there...tu susah banyak tu...  |

hahaha ko mcm dah tau tau je...betul la tu..kalu venture aku ni tak berapa laku atau tak laku langsung, at least aku dah pave the way utk the others to follow...especially budak2 yg muda dan bujang mcm ery and izuan ni...masa tengah muda belia ni explore la abis2an...at least kalu ada opportunity sampai nak pegi sana pun ko boleh pegi dgn senang ati...mcm kitorang ni punye la banyak menda nak kena consider....tapi kalu nampak mcm bagus dan ada masyuk je, aku pun sanggup pegi sana..hahaha....kan Bode kan..??
anyway, my manager kata lepas hal aku ni dah selesai dia nak aku jadi agent dia kt sini to scout for more talents...of course la yg buat lagu oangputeh ....tapi mesti original lah....so ery, izuan and others, apa lagi..start la woi..go find a good vocalist yg ada rupa sikit (bak kata M Nasir la)...tapi kt situ tak yah rupa lawa2 pun boleh...tak kesah pun...kalu lawa lagi la bagus kan..
development deal ni, yg bagus nye ialah, lagu2 ko je yg akan go thru the market test dulu..kita tak yah pegi sana dulu ....they'll put it in the website as downloads, in their own radio, push kt the major radio stations, dorang buatkan page ko in their website so that u can interact dgn fans ko (if any hahhaha), ada ringtone deal, merchandise pun ada (esok kalu tak laku ko boleh la order satu merchandise aku...kesian aku kalu tak ada orang order..hahaha)..so..even before kita jadi artis dorang, dorang dah jaga kita mcm their artis...the sharing basis for the downloads is kita 70 dorang 30..ok gak kan? so dlm development period ni kalu ada masyuk, dah kira petunjuk la tu where u'r heading to....so kalu dah nampak ada kemajuan tu of course la kene pegi perform kt sana ..maybe a mini tour mcm pop shuvit buat kat japan...ermm kalu masa aku dah tiba, aku akan pegi gak la..buat a one week mini tour ..cukup la..as introduction...lepas tu ikut flow je lah.. |

wokeh tq..agreement development deal tu aku dah baca and dah tanya member lawyer...dia kata ok..aku sign je la......lagi pun deal tu tak lama..untuk 8 bulan je...and rights semua masih aku yg pegang...tapi lepas tu kalu dia offer the main contract tu baru la kene amik masa sikit nak teliti semua details.. |

Thanks Bode...koyak lagi spender aku... payah jugak nak pikir mcm mana dah abiskan solo tu..so last skali idea tu yg kuar kt studio..blasah je lah...i used JD's yamaha pacifica for that solo.. |

hahaha...lega le tu ye..sensasi ke tak aku pun tak sure la..mgkin biasa je pada orang lain..lain la kalu salah satu lagu tu betul2 break into the british charts ke...(manager aku tu dah berangan..dia yg lebih2 sbb dia akan masyuk 25% kalu menda ni menjadik dan boleh jual)...aku sebenarnye still sceptical yg menda ni boleh menjadik ke tak....sbb mcm label tu cakap lah...dorang suka the music..and now it's up to the third party whthr they can accept or not..we hv done our work...tunggu apa jadik je la..
angkat trolley je? main tak nak ke? hahaha |
