| If sakit tekak tak hilang, then probably you are having a sore throat and flu in the first place, which does worsen the asthma anyway...then probably another trip to the Doc is imminent. Remember asthmatics shouldnt let their flu/fever go on, because these makes you more prone to attacks. |

Day 8 9th July 2004
Well, I purposely left this Journal for a couple of days, but Im back.
Wel I came *this* close to having a ciggie on Wednesday. In the midst of confusion trying to get all the legal paperwork ready for my wedding, I decided to Malaysia Hall (the brand new one) down in Bayswater so I can get some sort of explanation with the confusion.
According to the JAIS form, i need to supply a Sijil Kursus Pra-Perkahwinan, and also Surat Kebenaran Kahwin daripada Konsulat/Kedutaan or Imigresen British.
Confusion 1, - macamana aku nak gi kursus kahwin? Aku kat sini in London. Luckily after speaking to the Ustaz, he said he conducts the courses here at Malaysia Hall. I am booked for this Saturday 
Confusion 2, - The British Government does not really give a shit what you want to do with your life. As a British Citizen, you dont need to as for 'permission' to get married. Sukahati ko laaaa.....So there is no such thing as a Surat Kebenaran Kahwin dpd Konsulat/Kedutaan..Imigresen. Anyway, Ustaz at Malaysia HAll again cleared this up with me, and he said all i need to de is get a letter from my employer to say that I am single because they can prove I am single based on my income tax code...
Oh ye then I noticed on the Checklist:-

ARghhhhhh!!! 
So I was on the phone directly to JAIS to get some explanation... 10 disconnected calls later you can imagine why I nearly went and bought a packet of cigarrettes... really testing my patience!!!
in the end I managed to speak to a kind soul in JAIS who also happens to have the same name as my darling baby...she was really helpful...and she concisely explained to me what i needed to do. She also went to great lengths and actually rang me back here in UK to do just that!!
Alhamdulillah, I my frustration just went away like that. Didn't feel like smoking again, instead i felt really sleepy, i brushed my teeth and went to bed to fight another day. I do notice that I fall asleep easily than before. food tastes better and i also noticed this morning that my teeth were shade lighter.
I also realised as a smoker, I must have been considered as an inconsiderate fuckhead. Why? Because now that i am really giving up, I find it most irritating when walking behind someone who is having a fag. Now i understand why smoking has to be banned in Public places. I think smoking should be banned altogether!! I know thats really extreme, but people should not have to breath other peoples smoke!!

i m still trying hard to get over smoking
treated this journal as a motivation
managed to quit for 3 hours. aint that cool?

thank God i'm not a smoker... aku pernah cuba, tapi cannot go! tak dapat dia punya feel la, tu yg aku pelik ape best sangat isap rokok nih...
C'mon Ridzi, you can do it! haha jadi la pemuzik yg tak merokok (mcm aku, drummer aku ngan ex-gitaris aku).. ehehe
