there are also pcb tube amp, aku try, ok gak.. cuma sense of approach sometimes with our fellow colleagues here aku tak agreeable so much... just like comparing 40 watts filamen bulb and a 40 watts fluorescent tube... kadang2 both opinions are correct if you percept it at a different angle...
like tube overdrive ni hype aje lebih compared to non tube pedals... but i'm using one la bros.. my preference, i have my own self to decide on that matter, say la what you one, at the moment i'm still using it until my granpa days comes... ha ha ha!
come la, one day we sit down and make ourself share our common believe... bring your tube amp, cabs, rack etc.2, kita buat personal group shoot out and compare the chemistry, rent la a good studio blast them out of this world (shall i say these?)...
how sedap is sedap when compared to the current scenario that most sounds are like shit... than back to the guitar player himself.. dia punye energy transfer to the fretboard.. as a good player that is more to tone concious, he will definitely noticed what have not comes out of it.... but jangan la metallica lak ko bagi pakai vibroverb dan bb king pakai vht stack lak...
noticed or not that some (shall i say we?) are not so used to play loud on single note to note clean solo? why, the louder you play, the more shit will come out... tapi bila main unplugged electric guitar, pergh! maut. masuk lak kat amp with sustain taken from the drive at cipot volume, pergh! rasa terror lak! hmmm.. think, ada banyak lagi yg related.
easiest way to hide is via drive, dist, comp etc. etc. therefore, before the tube amp argument boast louder than our playing tone, guess better live it be... or better become a opportunist politician...
remember guitarist wannabe yg tak berpendirian sama saja dengan seorang wannabe yg ego. aku tak evaluate orang secara technical, fizikal, finacial, skill, education certs, bla bla bla, its the mentality that fits in it...

Jangan risau, that why kita panggil ne forum, bukan buku sejarah sekolah yang macam kena hafal jer walopun tak jelas sangat.
- pendapat sama or tidak bersetuju adalah cara yg paling berkesan kalo nak deep utk tau satu benda tu.
- I m will to share aper aper pendapat aku, walopun betul maupun salah sebab jika salah pun biasanya akan ada orang akan memperbetulkan nya. baru lah jadi ceta.
Setau aku ne first time bebenda solid state rectifier n tube rectifier kuar dalam iband. Sebab aku rasa ne dah kira masa yang sesuai kerana kebanyakan dah faham aper tu preamp, apertu power amp dan aper tu feedback loop. So aper salah nya kita upgrade, berbincang benda benda baru. For sure solid state rectifier tak sama dengan solid state amplifier.
Macam memula mula nak tau amp, kita ceta pasal preamp dan poweramp sahaja. Tapi tak bercerita plak pasal power supply, transformer [bukan MegaTron], inverter, push pull or single end or class. Maybe nak detail dari input section, gi first gain to 2nd gain to chtode folower, to inverter to bla bla... last last aku sendiri confuse.
Pasal All Tube or tak kita boleh ketepikan dulu, sebab pada aku pun ia tak gitu penting sangat asalkan kita tau aper sebenarnya berlaku dalam amplifier tu sendiri. Maybe disebabkan DIY or modder ne lebih pentingkan design dan technikal sebab kita orang tak nak kena short current dan tranformer berasap berbeza dari just hanya pembeli dan main. Kalo tak der orang nak tau pasal inside amp, maybe kita dah tak jumpa amp tu dah karang. Semua simulation dah... hhahaha.
Sebenarnya dari awal title ne aku just nak memperkenalkan solid state rectifier pada power supply amp. Tujuan utama design ne berubah dari masa kemasa for sure utk kebaikan. If kita seorang yang study pasal electronik, kita tak akan kata diode or diode rectifier satu teknologi yang tak boleh diterima oleh tube amp. Even utk kebaikan kadangkala macam beberapa section dalam tube amp diorang convert kepada op amp or ic or transistor kerana terlalu banyak tube pun bukan bagus sangat utk satu amp. Transformer pun kerja berat macam buruh indon.

- biasa saya tau pnp, npn.
- or PTP stand for Point to point or Peak to Peak
- PTP = Promise to Pay, jangan risau, dapat gaji saya bayor utang... hahhahahahaha.

Rectifier
- disenangkan ceta la, rectifier circuit ne utk tukar AC ker DC.
- oposite kepada nya adalah inverter > DC ker AC
- just jangan confuse dengan rectifier amp macam mesa.
- Semua amp pun ada rectifier, just design rectifier tu berbeza.
