aisey dude.
I installed the KX driver last night.
and it works fine now!

so no need for me to buy additional RAM at the moment lah. Very Happy

solved the main problems that I'm having with the creative driver, including the crackling sound.

wow... i think i'll install kx drivers in my office's system as well.... cause we're using the E-MU 1820m... no problem yet... but just in case la..cause we often have demos for customers...

probably u can check out those much lower end soundcards and make it work with the KxDriver and see wether they work better or not.

I have a example, I use MAYA 44 MKII before with VIA chipset MB, I installed the latest driver from Audiotrak and BIOS driver , still getting a latency....

What I do?? I change my MB to Intel chipset... the latency problem was slove.

But b4 you change the MB, you should try to get the latest driver and call the services centre........ try what ever you can before you change to new MB

BTW, there is a supprot centre @ LOW YAT Plaza @ 4th floor , Lot 4.32 , opp to Edifier show room , name as MIDI Specialist,

you can call or visit them if you like to know how and why and than......

you should try go to 4th floor, new shop like MIDI Specialist, PC3 new 3000sqf warehouse +retails+service
