wooh..congrats guys, i-banders are starting to appear everywhere. hehe..I told a long time ago didnt i Bode, that anything with a Bode tag to it will have ppl scrambling for it. Congrats to you too zubira, ko ngan bode seem to be on the same musical plane...
btw, u dont have a baritone, more of a tenor voice actually..and its a shame that ppl who sing within the tenor range automatically gets dumped in to the Creed category, eventhough your singing approach, tone, breathing and even vocal phonetics are totally different.
One thing though, the vocal tuner tended to be a bit obvious at moments  |

thanks Jeff...weii...u r talking about the new rottw issue eh? ye lah..nice la...bode's pic and mine side by side and nice to be mentioned like that by bro rom and the crews...tapi sempat gak dia cakap pasal umor tu...well that's the reality in malaysia la...but i don't care...i left music at age 26 (even listen pun tak, dah jemu..mgkin lebih suka consume my marriage kot hahaha)....and came back only few years back..so i don't feel old at all...aweks pun maseh boleh dapat..hahhaha..alamak kalu bini aku baca ni sure bising nih..
tenor..ermm Ian Gillan also in this range...how can Gillan be put in that Creed guy punye category...not fair la..there are many guys in this category way before Creed first appeared..i can only think of Creed ikut the big voice way of David Coverdale...
vocal tuner obvious eh? hahahha....tu le pasal...aku malas nak redo things..sbb studio time telampau sikit..and most of the time aku dah separuh pengsan by the time masuk studio...normally abis keje kt opis around 6.30 or 7 pm...balik rumah dah kul 8...dinner blablabla dah kul 9...reached the studio at 10.30 or 11pm...letih bang..aku rasa lagi bertenaga for vocals kalu buat siang hari but tak penah dapat session siang la... |

Fuyoo bro...gambar kita bertentangan dlm ROTTW bulan ni lah...(Jason Lo) issue...tapi gambar ko lagi smart dari gambar aku la  ...aisey...ko posing smart2...aku punya tengah tune gitar jer...  |
thanks bode..kgkadang aku malu dengar sore aku sendiri...hahaha..all those vocals recorded without going thru rehearsals ke ape ke...boh je..sbb tak de tmpat nak praktis pun..kt rumah malu nak melalak...nanti jiran baling kasut..
la sori..aku tak perasan mssg ko ni..sbb aku baca dari belakang tadi..hahha..ye ye...hahaha gambar kita side by side...smart? amende nye? mcm orang sakit je...aku demam masa tu and on mc...tapi bila sebut nama under DIY..nama ko dulu le disebut oleh ojets..hehehe |

ye la zoob, creed punye style tu bukan original sangat pun...no offence but its usually those who dont really listen much to other stuff other than whats currently 'in' who tend to generalize musical styles and approach, or those that lack any proper attention to finer details of the song. In the end it all comes down to their basis of comparison...and if creed is their sole foundation of how a tenor voice sounds, then...i guess their opinions shouldnt matter much to you.
hehe..youll be surprised how many of us 'old' people are still proudly rocking out with our guitars that are still around. Think of it as finely aged wine, or whiskey, or stout, or whatever. The Man has a way of knocking us down to conform to standards after a while..but hey, you and Bode are prime examples of how to take it back to them.
That is the essence of rock and roll. |

Sama la tu bro...I really hate my playing...both of us are in the similar situation of being totally absorbed by work and life's demands that whatever music we record is totally unprepared and on the 'hentam kromo' basis Eddie Van Halen describes this kinda approach as "falling off the stairs and hoping to land on your feet"!
In my case...most of the times I land on my head...ouch... |

yeah i agree...it's their opinion lah..it's ok..i just want to rock'n'roll..and of course kene keep up dgn the current trends and sounds jugak la..hehe..and share with today's kids on what the real rock'n'roll is all about.....but glad nowadays kids aged 16-18 start digging those classic rock again..some inherited the old stuff from their dads and moms and now they appreciate it more..
glad to know u otais are still around and kicking...for a few years i thought i was the only old man still holding the guitar and write songs.. |
