cool thread...
yeah...build up contacts...that's the most important thing
i use to organise some urban rock + hiphop combo back in 99 and in those days, i get ppl to introduce ppl to get talents to perform...i think we were probably the few open mic gig organisers back then...and yeah, we never profit! duit habis lagi banyak siot...hehe...
and with the limited network - those days i got Reefa, Ruff Edge, Ferhad and our Dr Guitar Bode to play...damn, those were good times! Now most of the performers are successful 'artistes' in their own way...so that really brings a smile to my face whenever i think of 'em
tapi yg kelakar...sekarang ni dah ada band sendiri...nak masuk gig pun tak tahu cable mana nak pakai...coz al my old network indie mostly dah retire...hehe...maybe i have to got an PR a lot more...
but not too bad...coz last2 buat open jam session, panggil budak2 i-bands syok sendiri je lah...
