I always encounter bad Chinese taxi drivers in KL/PJ too. There are some bad taxi drivers or other races too. I would still say Chinese cab drivers are the worst. They are very rude. Once I called a cab, he waited for me at the wrong house. When I called their office, they discovered that he waited at wrong house. Upon entering his cab, the young driver scolded me (if not mistaken ..including bad words). I just kept quiet all the way although very pissed off that I wanna punch his big mouth. I should be the one scolding him for the mistake. My Cantonese was and is still very shitty...so there's no way I can win any argument without being fluent in the dialect.
Once my friend had to use a pen knife to threaten a driver to stop the taxi because the driver kept ignoring the route my friend suggested. Being suspicious that the driver could be a robber, he pointed the knife at the driver to stop, paid him then ran away.
Of course there are nice cab drivers too.
I don't fancy Chinese superstitious traditional belief too. Some of the things are a waste of money, time and effort. Sometimes my personal belief cause me a lot of trouble with the elder family members - mostly civil war  i.e. the day I selected 2 or 3 weeks after Hungry Ghost festival as my wedding day. |

wah this thread can be broken down into two now.
1. the lim kit issues.
2. the rude cab drivers
hehe
I haven't got any beef with any cab drivers before. but I like doing conversations with them since the meet a lot of people everyday.
but once I tahan a teksi. there're few indian guys trying to tahan that same teksi.. but the driver stop at me.. so i went in.. then the driver said..
"i tamau angkat itu india.. sudah malam lah"
i said wahhh uncle.. macam kat new york lah! haha.
but i rarely encounter rude drivers. one occasion after berborak, the driver ajak aku pegi mengurut pulak sama2 dgn dia. kepalahotak ah haha.
ada janda ni pandai urut dia kata.. urut batin. aku pun tatau apa urut batin tu. tapi apahal aku nak pegi dengan dia pulak!

ye ah ajeep, tak pegi konon..wahaha.
walaumacamanapun, aku pro jalan kaki / public transport. Yang selalu aku kene kencing kalau naik teksi, pak cik melayu tua...mesti bawa pusing mane2 pastu sambil cite2 politik, buat2 lupa lak time dah sampai entah mane..."eh nak pegi mane tadi tu ah?" ...duhhh... |

Citer psl teksi, aku tringat cita member aku rush nak balik dr kuala kedah ke b'worth sbb sedara dia meninggal. Dapat la sorang pakcik teksi ni. So member aku ckp le dia ada emergency nk sampai cepat sblm mayat dikebumikan. So pakcik ni apa lagi siap manouvre masuk jln tanah merah tepi2 sawah sbb senang nak potong lori2. Siap boleh elak2 kambing apa semua. Member aku pun cam respect la pakcik ni sbb 1 mcm nyer terer drive.
Last skali dekat2 nk sampai, sambil diorg sembang2 topik penyakit, pakcik ni selamba jer ckp "Pakcik ada penyakit jantung...'
