pick : i will religiously stick to the conventional teardrop shaped gibson pick 1.5mm. reasons.... senang beli di merata rata kedai & it brings out the so called 'tone' that i want. yang purple 3mm pick (FREE! took by the handful masa guitar show di hammersmith Bode, remember that one dude!!?!) tu aku dah tak guna sebab tebal sangat... doesnt work on me, so rather use it as a door stopper 
pick"ing" : i'm stuck to locking/resting the end of my palm just behind the floyd-rose, and do that gyroscopic picking movement at the thumb-indexfinger. tried to 'alternate it' @ elbow (keeping wrist fixed) which produced cool scary dynamics, but PENAT, i know Bode does this well.
cheating : doing the breathless picking ascending&descending exercise, i hammer-ed on some of the notes (somehow managed to make it sound like being picked!)..... |

Senang nak dapat? I haven't seen it anywhere for ages dude!
About the elbow thing, I just realised that unconsciously I've gone down to wrist movement too...dunno when it happened...probably after I got fed up with my tone, stopped analysing and just played on!
About the 'cheating' thing...actually Yngwie does it sometimes too! Noticed it while listening to 'Marching Out' in the car the other day...  |

penah jumper tortex 2.5 mm masa jalan2 kat sunway pyramid.. bentuk mcm aneh ajeh.. but it cost a lot la.. bout 3.50.... whoo.. i could buy a new string consider i'm a string cutter guitarplayer... doesnt sound rite does it?
