Most of the studios and producers I know have not made to move to Windows 7 yet.

sebelum ni aku guna Ableton Live 6 on Windows XP platform...
everything works fine, not much problem and it's stable like hell...
then recently the notebook ade problem...
hardisk corrupt or something...
so my company gives me a new HP notebook...
pre-installed with Window 7 Pro with 64-bit OS (and hardware i think...)
so, aku kena configure balik laptop baru ni utk jadikan home-studio...
memula tu mmg menyampah giler la dgn Win 7 ni...
abis kena sumpah seranah utk beberapa minggu pertama...
but then, tgk huzai pakai Win7 ok je, no problem...
so aku pon start google for solutions...
skarang aku pakai Ableton Live 8
prob: ada a few presets / instruments from Live 6 is missing!
so my old project files won't load completely... small matter...
then install updates / drivers for GearBox and ASIO4All
(in case i'm mixing without my toneport UX2)
amazingly, most of the VST's works well on Win 7 with no issue...
except maybe Drumagog 4, ade lain skit cara dia...
so far ok la, no major problem...
as long as i can compose / record / mix songs...
then it should be fine for me!
the thing is...
teknologi sentiasa move forward...
and we cannot stay in the cave forever...
someday, kita kena ikut jugak ...
in my case, aku "terpaksa" guna Win 7
(sbb laptop tu company yg punya hehehe)
contoh lain; kononnya aku tanak terima facebook...
sebab dah ade myspace, so why bother?
aku nak jadi pengguna tegar mySpace! huhuhu
but recently mySpace punya UI dah jadi mcm haram...
nyampah lak aku tgk...
so maybe someday aku kena move to facebook jugak!
hahahaha... apa daa aku merapu sudah jauh off-topic nih...

pakai je windows 7.. start aku pakai sampai skang tak format dah..
orang tak pakai tu sebab takut pada perubahan je. ikut la kalau nak ikut cara lama/cara baru. masing2 ada kelebihan kekurangan.

yup for me...win7 is like..vista+XP = win7 huhu graphic cun...ability seperti xp sp3(but even better)

Windows + Mac...Ade sape2 yang dah berjaya..lau ade mintak share and details spec skali...Ada gak keinginan nak guna MAC program ni? |

aiseh jiro asik jawab soklan yg aku nk jawab...nampak sgt ke-sensei-an dia nih...
apple dah buat kajian pasal spec yg paling stable utk OS dia...so mmg akan jadi kurang stabil...even Apple da guna intel sbg processor...dorang ada resipi sendiri maa...better angkat MAC terus lo...sudah murah maa...

AKu plak tgh memikir lagi nie...ade gak google tgk spec...tapi nak kena tgk balik spec aku samada compatible x ngan osx86 pastu download iATKOS S3 version 7
Aku check dia ni pakai spek hampir sama cuma aku pakai graphic built in jer...risau plak kang install, habis sume jahanam..hahaha!
