Getah stoper, entah ler, try carik kat kedai hardware, biasa ader rubber cam tu... atau ko carik gabus getah kecik and potong ker sikit ikut tinggi yang ko mau tu...
Tu bukan mengelat geng, letih aku surf internet carik tip macam tu... hahhahaha.

zid apsal guitar ko slow sgt susah aku nak check bunyi.. tapi kesimpulannya:
1. wah2 ko punya range best (mengikut taste aku)
2. sound bersih tak distorted. Aku rasa inductor ko bagus la. Aku punya wah sound serak..
ko kena buat true bypass je la kot.. beli la 2DPT footswitch kat wohfatt pastu ikut guide yg ada kasi link kat 1st page .. mcm senang jer..
Aku hari tu kirim 2DPT pada cousin aku masa dia nak pergi beli component kat JB(dia budak elektrik kat UTM). Sekali dia beli 2DPT yg bukan footswitch tapi yang toggle guna tangan tu.(RM1.90) aku nak pergi balik kedai tu nak tanya ada tak yg footswitch punya jenis.. 3DPT tak ada...

Utk buat true bypass, lebih kurang RM30 cam tu... (ne termasuk harga switch DPDT tu lah)
And lain mod depand dengan benda capisitor and chip kene tukar.
led kene tanya dia.
Aku punya mod dalam kurang dari RM50 jer, utk circuit mod and true bypass. lagipun utk boost midrange wui guna satu set swith so aku boleh pilih mana bunyi(ikut capasitor) yang aku suka. Ada 6 swith on off (kecik jer dalam kotak betery). Boleh on satu satu or combination lebih dari satu.
Biasa orang tukar cap kat board, tapi wui buat sprate punya board dan ada beberapa cap yang beza unitnya.
Utk jenis mod dalam internet semua dia boleh bikin
1. Gain mod
2. Vocal mod wah to woh
3. Adjustable "wah-woh"
4. Lower range Macam bass wah range
5. Mid boost smooth transaction
6. remove buffer
Utk fizikal punya mod, macam nak bagi nganga besar, tu sendiri boleh godek.
Stakat ne memang berpuas hati ler, tapi tak sempat nak record somting itk korang dengar.

hmm aku baru je beli DPDT switch kat woh fatt semalam.. RM20 takde brand la.. tapi takde tools yg cukup nak bikin, plus aku takde skill nak solder2 nih, mau terbakar wah pedal kang! heheh...
so kalau dah ada switch sendiri, upah RM10 je lah ye? hehe

hell yeah! aku telah berjaya modify Vox Wah aku jadi true-bypass! pukul 5 pagi baru tido! ahahaha... senang je as long as you have the right tools and switch.
satu problem, switch DPDT yg aku beli tu pendek, tak sama dgn original Vox wah punya switch. so bila aku press the pedal toe down, the switch can't be activated coz that round thing below the pedal can't reach the switch! but that's not a big issue, aku beli stopper getah utk tambah ketebalan benda bulat tu... pakai gam gajah je.. settle!
aku tak sure utk crybaby punya switch panjang / pendek... kalau pendek then there should be no problem la!

for info, i just passed Wui my vintage looking italian-manufactured super cry baby wah for him to repair and to mod....hopefully it'd be sveeet! Wah aku dah tetiba macam tak bunyi...dah hantor repair kedai tapi depa malas nak layan coz pedal tu nampak antique sgt kot...hehe...
wah tu aku beli 2nd hand kat uk in 96...aku rasa usia menatang ni maybe dah at least 15 years...lu lak brand dia but it say there 'manufactured in tialy'
aku taram je beli coz time tu aku rasa murah, around 40 quid...so aku tak tahulah quality sound dia ok ke tak, and aku takdelah selalu pakai sound wah tu pun..sekali sekala je
so awaiting the result soon. nanti aku update. i've asked him to keep the cost as low as possible coz that new wah from behringer tu pun baru rm180...
and for the record - i've tested behringer's hell baby wah..damn cheap, not bad for the price...it used optical senses for on off, not switch macam cry baby...so macam senang je pakai.
tak rugi aku tak sengaja join forum ni...time kasih. had gathered tonnes of info here.
btw - just picked-up an SD pick-up from another forummer - tgh tunggu kedai install ni...full shred pick-up tu (keda price rm380, bought for rm200+)...yg kelako aku shred pun tak reti, tapi pasal curious beli jugak lah - gue ramones follower beb...their songs very rarely go beyond the 7th fret...haha! But maybe i've mutated their songs a bit now ever since i bought paul gilbert's instructional video.
eh...cite panjang pulak. gabba gabba hey!

ps - wui - if you're reading this...do story us on the progress of my pedal. if u can give step by step pic also better mah...at least ada history in the making here..groovy!

I am reading but i dun have camera to take photo shots. Maybe later when i can get more money i will buy a web cam.
The pedal is in the workbench now, i am preparing all the stuffs to repair/mod it. |
