CALLING FOR ENTRIES!!!
Urbanattic presents the Acoustic Showdown competition that will run over a course of 4 weeks, kickstarting on the 2nd Wednesday in May!
WHEN ITS GOING DOWN
Heat dates: May 13, 20, 27
Finals date: June 3
Winner's debut performance: June 10
HOW ITS GOING DOWN
- For the preliminaries, 3 solo acts and 3 duo/group acts will perform for 15 minutes each on given nights
- The top solo act and the top duo/group act, voted by the audience, will advance to the finals
- For the finals, the top 3 solo acts and the top 3 duo/group acts from the preliminaries will perform for 15 minutes each
- The winner of the solo round and the winner of the duo/group round will give a 45-minute performance each on the following week
The best part is, there is NO participation fee required! Simply drop us a message to register, and you might be walking away with cold hard cash!
Winning solo act will get RM1,000
Winning duo/group act will get RM1,500
Musicians are allowed to perform as a solo act and as a part of a duo or group, but not on the same night. However musicians are not allowed to be in more than one duo or group act. Lets give the others a chance shall we?
As this competition depends entirely on the votes of your family, friends and fans, all they have to do is spend RM 10 on a single receipt and they will receive two voting slips, one for the solo act and one for the duo or group act.
