I'm glad you mentioned these 2 names man!
Aku selalu juga terserempak dgn Guthrie Govan dulu masa kat UK during music fairs....everytime dia test guitar, it will be an informal show!
Bloody amazing musician!
PaulGilbert, since you're in UK....check out Shaun Baxter(cikgu besar Musician's Institute Rock Guitar Dept) and Dave Kilminster. I've never miseed any of their free shows during music fairs!
Anyway, susah aku nak compile my own list sebab aku suka ramai sangat, but I agree with everyone's list here!

hi bode,
yer....aku memang minat gak ngan dave kilminster....tapi shaun baxter aku tak berapa minat walaupun die pun bagus gak.
in my opinion Guthrie Govan and Dave Kilminster are the top guitarist in UK. Jamie Humphries pun bagus jugak. Aku pun pergi jugak tgk National Music Shows.
But Guthrie Govan is definitely one of the best in the world. Neville Martin pernah kata dalam GUITARIST magazine that if there anyone better then he hasn't heard of him yet.
Aku ader DVD Guthrie Govan clinic kat US dan jugak DVD die show kat NAMM US. Gile susah aku carik DVD tu. Guthrie Govan tgh process album die and aku dah dgr a few of his songs. Ader satu lagu country die main gile babi punya. |

Pesan beli DVD and album dia boleh? I agree that Guthrie is definitely one of the best in the world.
