guys i really need some help here about music notations. i have found that there's one topic people are debating on.
1. when playing guitar, is the MIDDLE C (the note on the line between the treble clef and the bass clef) on the 3RD FRET of the 5TH STRING, or the 1ST FRET of the 2ND STRING? I really beleive it is 1st fret 2nd string from comparing the sound with the middle C i play on keyboards, but i've just learnt that some guitar notations say it's 1st fret 2nd string.
2. when playing the SAME POSITIONS on a bass guitar as on a guitar, is the bass guitar actually playing an octave lower than the guitar? or does it just SOUND like that because of the TONE?
3. so is it true that the bass clef notes just really don't exist on an acoustic guitar??
