Greetings..
We, the ex-musicians of KOMPLOT, are embarking on a new project, and are looking for a talented singer who fits the vacant shoes of the frontman. This is our new journey and by NO means a continuation of what KOMPLOT was about. Our current line-up consists of drums, bass, guitar, saxophone and percussion. The music style of this project is an evolving collision of rock, jazz punk, funk, progressive and perhaps fusion.
We draw inspirations from the jazz-rock-fusion movement in the Miles Alumni days, the fast city life, ironies, Jaco Pastorius, Joshua Redman, Fantastic Planet (1973 animation), Bjork, Aphex Twin, Umberto Eco, 70s muscle car chase scenes, a mug of strong black coffee and our beloved ones.
We are looking for a humble charismatic singer with a strong sense of melodies, harmonies and rhythms, and who is very well-versed in both Bahasa Melayu and English. Most importantly we would like someone who shares our music ideals and sentiments, and is passionate about pushing boundaries and not caring about superficial distractions.
