Salam & Wassup!
After using my Chinese brand laptop HASEE for 3 years making music, I finally decided to get a new cpu.
Since I am doing home recordings, I need a PC that is quiet. After contemplating over which one would give me the best value, I went for the amazing sexy DELL STUDIO HYBRID with the Intel T4200 cpu, 2GB DDR2. Got the Dell E 2010H 20 inch monitor with it.(wow so nice to use Cubase now) Ok this T4200 cpu is simply incredible! The Hybrid is so quiet, almost no fan noise to speak of. The cpu is so cool in temperature but running at 2.0Ghz and 800 mhz FSB. unbelieveable.
After installing all my music programs, plugins, VSTi...I loaded my song that I made with my old AMD cpu that would use up almost 95% cpu power.
"slap me" I had to pinch myself so hard cos with the T4200 cpu, it only used up 30% power...for the same song!!!! 30%! The hybrid fans were not even spinning faster while in use. I could record vocals without worrying picking up nasty fan noises!
WEll, thank you INTEL and DELL for making an excellent product that will expand my creativity process to another whole new level.

beli kat China harga RMB 4100 duit RM about RM 2k
including 20 inch monitor but the wireless keyboard & mouse not DELL's, brand ABC and the shop threw in a free very cheap 2.1 active speakers. Woofer macam bunyi kertas...lol...but FREE...ok la

btw it's winter now in Suzhou, China...might not be an accurate statement regarding cpu temperatures.
will update in summer on the T4200's temperature in the Hybrid housing.
my mobile AMD Athlon 3000 1.8Ghz was way faster and cheaper than any Intel in the same class 3 years ago...that was the reason I bought it
but now, it seems that competition has forced cpu makers to invent better, faster, cheaper cpu's while consuming less power...
