btw lagu "Rintihan Airmata"...combination of A Major scales but using D Major and B Minor mixed in with 7th and sus4 chords this song can sound very emotional. OTAAAAAK!!!!
my 1st successful key change in a song that is not obvious...the result is simply beautiful! from a root scale of A major I transposed the song in the ending to B Major. After using many combinations for the 3rd verse the part after the guitar solo in the end I was in love with the results and kept this final version...

tips yg boleh kongsi :
1. talent
2. inspiration/motivation
3. concentration/focus
4. self discipline
my recording setup:
- computer, focusrite saffire, guitar port line 6, ibanez gio gax 30, m-audio dx 4 monitors, sennheisser hd201 headphones, m-audio keystation 61, taming sari and perisai.
DAW guna cubase sx3 dgn vsti plugins...

for mixing tips...maybe we need to have a good ear for sound...
but it's unfair because i'm using ezdrummer...kerja senang...the real deal is to record real drums...so i really respect to all the others that is recording an actual drumkit...and making it sound good
electric bass guna vsti....also unfair...record real bass with amp is also a challenge
guitar pun guna pod farm amp simulation...not real amps atau guna mics to record it
only my vocal recording is using the traditional way....mic - pop filter- mic preamp - compressor - audio interface (all with my focusrite saffire)
for balancing, eqs, efx and dynamics i depend on my ears and M-AUDIO DX 4 active monitors. i wonder if my demo song mixes are too bright or too bassy...hopefully it's a safe mix...
