The ones I have now are the MKII version which were discontinued 10 years ago. I also have the MKI version but the drivers have been cannibalised.
Although I've tried many home-studio monitors (Behringer, Roland, ESI, Yamaha etc), I find the Audiolab 8000A/Celestion 3 combo perfect for my ears! |

Best giler!!!
The lyrics are damn spooky man...just reminded me of some things in my life that I would rather not talk about here!
I requested for more impromptu blues solos from you yesterday, and thanks for complying with my request! The vocals reminds me of E.C., and the guitar kinda like Albert King on a strat...
Send chills down my spine this did...
...sounds like you have actually 'registered' at the 'Green Lane' branch eh? Dah register tapi tak cakap ye?
I use to live there...and frequented 'Murtabak Adelaide' often...that was back in 1983-1984(I was 16 then)...use to cycle all around the island...stopping for a smoke under the trees while checking out the chicks at St. George's...these all in between trying desperately to work out solos by Randy Rhoads/Jake E. Lee and Eddie Van Halen...ahh...the memories...when my soul was still free
This song is now haunting BODE'S BAND BOX RADIO... |

Anyway, I'm afraid the real story behind all this is not as exciting as going over to the dark side. In fact, it's rather mundane. But strangely enough, it involves a bicycle, a simpang (unfortunately, only a simpang tiga), and a freak accident that resulted in two broken fingers on the left hand about five years ago.
The middle finger is now permanently "bengkok" (sorry if that sounds crude) and the ring finger is literally out of shape. It's hell on these fingers when I play barre chords these days, but somehow the pain helps to fuel the desire to play on. Sounds like the Devil's work, doesn't it?
BTW, just got back from the island. It's sad to see such a beautiful place gone to rot! |
