u guys are good..i can see a lot of potential here. Youre vocals are very well executed, and you have a realy nice intro which draws in the listeners.

My suggestion is that perhaps you can cut down atleast a minute of this song? the running time of 5.30 mintues with repetitive chords and lyrics tends to make the listeners lose focus of the song..you sort of lost the energy apparent at the beginning of the song after the second verse chorus...and some of the guitar parts seem a bit like they were pasted together between chord changes.
All in all, a good effort, reminds me of the current crop of bands doing the rock and roll revival thing. Keep going!

oh yea, welcome to i-bands. Very Happy

hi.. welcome to i-band.

nice intro.. and sounds not bad too. along with the riff comes to the rock n roll feel when i heard vocal.

is this live recorded? or track by track?

overall its okay... easy listening song but like jeff said, better shorted the song coz it kill the mood somehow..

all the best then...

Plus points

Overall nice pschyo/rockabilly feel. Catchy tune.
Good powerful voice. Reminds me of Ian Astbury (The Cult). I like.
The surf riff at "you make me feel like dancing" punctuates it nicely.

I liked the first solo. Very rock & roll.

Room for improvement

Initially the timing sounds off:

a) with the clean rhythym guitar, hi hat, snare.

b) The first verse vox (0:53) , when there are pauses between sentances - check the flow and vocal phrasing relative to the rhythym guitar chops.

The second time (1:55) it comes together because you have the drummer keeping time with the hi hat.

Perhaps work with a click track or have your drummer always come in to keep time.

Not sure what "take a spell of me?" means, perhaps "you've put a spell on me?"

Also "ain't nothing gonna come my way" - which means you're not getting anything perhaps should be "ain't nothing gonna get IN my way" from getting your girl?

Need to look at the changes in guitar tone/volume levels across the arrangement. Sometimes it doesn't flow. Particularly coming out of the second solo.

I think someone mentioned that the song should be shortened to about 3:30 or 4 mins. The first solo added value. Wasn't too keen on the second one.
