Everyone seems to focus on ipod related portable equipment based on the latest trend.
I wonder whether anyone still uses the more "traditional" portable cd player with MP3 capability.
I am wondering because I am thinking of getting one for myself. 2 of my old Sony discman have damaged after I stopped using them regularly. I don't think it's worth repairing them coz the battery life span for the old players was bad and MP3 is not supported.
Aiming at Panasonic one.....I've lost confidence with Sony recently.... |

i'm still using my TOBA CD/Mp3 player. it also reads CDRW fine so the only hassle is to burn all the files onto the Disc. But I'll definitely gonna get one of those comel2 mp3 player (remember....comel like me). senang ah. kecik jek. and taya nak burn2 CDs.

yup. comel dan botak.hehe..
but id get one of those mp3 players, much easier la uncle, no need to bring so many CDs around, and since it doesnt have any mechanical parts, all circuitry, theres less wear and tear, and less power consumption. Can anybody recommend one? i want to get one but not sure of what to look for..they all look the same to me at the moment.

yup, i want one too, i like the cretive lab zen one but the price is like so expensive. i dont like the little one that play songs randomly.. can anyone recommend me any? it must be at least 500 mb, song are not played randomly and about 300-400 bucks..

iPod and even Creative Zen are expensive. That's why I have to think of a cheaper alternative. Otherwise, whenever I travel by bus to my kampung (7-8 hours by bus)...it's damn boring.....
Yeah, the price range for me is RM100-RM200. I also need to find a way to pay for the remastering of my compilation project (RM300...anyone interested to collaborate??? hehe)...my old Pentium 1st generation PC also koyak now.......so I'll be broke soon. 
My wife bought a Sony product with Blue Tooth capability for the connection to Sony-Ericsson handphone....I dunno what is it called. It can play MP3 too. The memory card is only 128Mb I think (memory card is expensive if I want a bigger storage). Storage is too small...it's not that easy to use too....the battery compartment is crap....that's why I hate it. |

| option yang terbaik ku masih cd player yang ada MP3.....aku tak kisah sibuk convert dan copy ke MP3 sebab lepas ku rasa boring tentang CD tu...aku boleh bagi anak kakak ku yg aku influence....hahaha (dia macam DBKL...haha) |
