can't be coincidence.....it sounds exactly like those Bollywood movies copying Hollywood movies....really crap....malu saja....if I am the Prime Minister or the King...I would replace the song immediately....it's more embarassing to have a "copy-cat" song as a national anthem.... |

hehe..the story behind it was that the Sultan of Perak when asked for a state anthem hummed out this tune to which an orchestra followed. He had no real recollection of where the tune was from at the time, and then song subsequently became the Perak state anthem. Then ppl in the government though, 'COOL TUNE!' and Malaysia adopted that tune to become the National Anthem with some lyric changes.
After a while, ppl guessed that the Sultan of Perak was away on holiday, and came across some folks playing the song, with girls dancing in grass skirts and some dude without a shirt on the youkele and thought, 'COOL TUNE!'
HAHAHA |

I don't hear any action being done.....heard some people told the media to stop playing the Hawaiian song because it's too sensitive...that's all.
I think stop playing the Hawaiian song is the most ridiculous solution I have ever heard. It's similar to trying to kill termites with bare hands knowing that the entire house is built on a termites' nest. |

Hahahahaha..
My friend told me that the Era Radio station once aired the songs (i'm not too sure) or/and discuss it. They were condemned by a pakcik in the Parlimen for doing it. _________________ "Augmented scales can turn you into a giraffe.." an anonymous giraffe |

Yes, that's the case I was referring to. I think those pakcik forgot to take their medicine or what.....
Sometimes I am very shy of the quality of the leaders in this country....both opposition and the ruling party are equally the same....certain things I think they should keep quiet if they cannot give a proper comment because when they open up their mouths, it's very embarassing to the country and they turn themselves into a laughing stock. |

Rather then Mamula Moon, they should make Moon the National anthem then...at least it's an original Malaysian composition! He he he...Cuma kena bayar royalti kat aku evertime our new National anthem is played lah...kalau macam tu, aku boleh berhenti kerja! |
