Well, every bedroom studio must have a quiet PC when we want to record the vocals
What are the best quiet Power Supply, Fan Cooler, and CPU Fan available in Malaysia?
Where to find it in KL (mestilah Low Yat @ Imbi Plaza) and what is the price range?
I think quiet PC can reduce stress too
It will be useful to reduce noises around us
Any recommendation guys?

theres various ways you can do that depending on how much u got to spend. Basically its all about reducing fan noise..sooooo...
if youve got money, u can go for a water cooling system, which removes cpu and graphic card fans which will knock off a few decibels. Theres passive cooling solutions out there (meaning no fan, jsut heat sinks) but i wouldnt recommend it due to the heat build up. I think Zalman has a few products for that purpose. Check them out.
Theres also alternate casings catered for reducing pc noise by having built in noise insulation. This includes some spongy material lining the iterior of the casing along with rubber gaskets on the external fans(reduces vibrations). Lian Li has a good range of noise reducing cases...you can go check them out.
If youre on a minumum budget, then maybe you can look to changing your fan size or speed. Mounted fans come in 80mm or 120mm. 80mms are generally louder than 120mms..fit them together with rubber gaskets and it gets pretty quiet.
Another solution would be to rig all the fans to a fan control system, so you can adjsut the speed theyre running at through some nobs mounted in ur 5" bay.
The cheapest solution (which is what i use) is to use a volt adapter. Fans generally operate at 12V, which means its spinning at full velocity. This adapter allows u to choose the voltage between 12v or 5v. I plug all my fans into the 5v connector. Ive got 6 fans running and its pretty quiet, it runs slower but still maintains proper internal air flow. This only works only if youve got a lot of fans in ur case.
Hope that helped!

Thank you jeff for the great feedback
Unfortunately I’m not rich
I think the best way what I can afford is by switching all the noisy fans
BTW, are there any chances you would post what brand of fans you’re using?
Reducing the volt of the fan might help
Thank you for sharing your knowledge jeff
I’m really appreciate it |

Fan kat PC pun ade gasket
Aku ni pun bukan hardcore sangat bab PC Hardware
Macam mana nak selesaikan masalah power supply bising?
Tapi aku rasa power supply biasa pun tak de lah bising mane
Aku rasa fan cooler kat processor yang bising
Lagi banyak kena proses stuff, bertambah bising bunyi kipas dia
Ape pun, cun gile fan cooler kau tu
Siap ade bearing, mungkin itu yang buat dia senyap
Atau memang setiap fan cooler ade bearing, aku pun tak tau
Ape pun, ade info tentang fan cooler untuk processr yang senyap? |
