hello guyz n gals
i'm just wandering. can our upload in here b use if anythin happened.
i mean in i-bands laaa. can our upload in here be a proof if somethin happened. mana la taukan! kalau upload kita kat sini ble jadi bahan bukti for copyright purpose

I wish it can be that easy dude. But unfortunately it's not. All the data here are questionable and tak boleh nak jadikan bahan bukti yg kukuh. Data in the databases can be changed. So I don't think it will serve u good if "something happened" to your work.
as a matter of fact, we ourselves, who're running i-bands, need you guys to be honest with your uploaded works so that WE don't get in trouble 
Our main concern are of course
1) Cover songs.
2) Sound/Audio Samples from original recordings
anyway.. berbalik pada issue pokok tadi.
I'm sorry... it's not strong enough to work in your favours.
but get your songs uploaded everywhere dude. soundclick, mp3.com.au, purevolume, let it be heard, and don't change or delete em as you might want to keep the "creation date" of all your songs. At least should "anything happened", you have a list of these sites as your reference.

it is still arguable in a lot of ways. but on the positive side, from what i understand, it can be used as an evidence. Even a listener can be a witness to affirming to the fact that they have actually listened to ur songs. but that is still arguable in court. tapi kalau lagi ramai orang dah dengar, lagi ramai yang keluar to be witnessess in your favor, okay la tu.
as far as sound recording is concerned, the above method boleh guna. tapi kalau nak test against ur claim yang diorang cedok lagu lu, kena ada benda benda lain jugak. musical scores and all that. biasanya case case macam ni complicated sikit sebab involved intellectual properties. depends on what claim you are contesting in the court. kalau orang curi sound recording (recording lu) sebijik sebijik, kena la produce evidences to prove that you actually recorded the sound recording. if u r claiming that somebody "ciplak" your musical work, kena produce musical score.
but, hey, good rule of thumb, buat apa apa yang patut to safeguard your materials, think how can u proof that u r the owner of the intellectual properties (in this context, sound recording, lyrics, musical works, artworks of the album). if you have to sue somebody, time will tell, at least u r prepared, right 
antara langkah langkah yang boleh di ambil
1. receipt from recording studio, with of course the affirmation from the sound engineer ke cakap lu orang record kat situ, lagu lagu yang lu orang sue tu
2. payment voucher from record store ke, ur fan,
3. play the music to a lot of people, let a lot of people listen to your recorded materials
4. ambik the musical score / sound recording (cd ke), post it to yourself, then jangan bukak. the date of post is what you need
5. ambik musical score/sound recording tu bawak pergi commisioner of oath, stamp.
here are my thoughts, but do consult legal advices coz i m not a valid source for legal advices. i m just helping out from what i've been told, and what i've read. try baca the copyright guide kat article section. it helps, and try to talk to local music copyright related bodies.

itu mcm ka.....  kalau cam tu aku nak carik lagu sape yg paling ganaz kat sini then menjadikan ia lagu paling syahdu kat sini... hehe... agaknya lagu sape yg bole di jadikan mangsa. any idea. bayangkan lagu stock noisecore d jadikan indie ke ahaks! camne bunyinye yek |

lagu cover boleh upload tapi kena mention that it is a cover song in the title something like - 'Kau Kekasih Awal Dan Akhir ( Cover Version ) '
i know ..not the most rocking example..hehe all the best dude..
