Ella gave our hospital a 24 hour notice that she would be appearing to sing live with the hospital band during the hospital's recent Hari Keluarga! .I was pulled in to help with the last minute panicky preparations.
On the day itself, she appeared...no limousines...no bodyguards...no rock diva/rock star attitude (despite that she has been the only reigning Malaysian rock diva ever since the last 20+ years...having worked alongside Man Keedal, Sham Kamikaze, Slash and Michael Thompson etc.). She was extremely down to earth and friendly.
So what was originally 'Hari Keluarga'(where Moms, Dads and kiddies do rightful politically correct thingies) turned into an outdoor rock and roll gig!

I'm more excited to see Bode in the pics rather than Ella.. hehehe... cousin aku ada guitar kramer mcm ko tu tp neck dia dah patah dan digam balik.. but still tone dia mengejutkan aku lerr..

Tapi masa gig tu tak ada saper yg nak tengok budak band... semua mata memandang Ella jer  For obvious reasons la kan...she is the star attraction
Even dalam video pun, camera focus kat Ella all the time. Masa guitar solo aku Ella point kat aku, tapi camera masih focus kat dia. Bila camera cuba focus kat aku, ada pasu bunga pula block view! Hai nasib...
Sama macam Jackson putih aku juga...dah patah neck...tapi digam balik...dan sekarang as good as new. Neck profile perfect...tak ada warp/twisted langsung |
