Excellent! Thanks for sharing Min!
Anyway Min...what picks do you use? Does PG use 1.2mm or 1mm thickness picks?
I've experimented with many types, in the end I ended up using the regular 1mm picks which you can find everywhere, since I was fed up having to search for specific shops to get previously used thicker picks. I find that you gotta work harder with your right hand when using 1mm picks as opposed to thicker shredding picks, but I do find that you get a snappier attack on the note. And we all know that PG's note attack when he alternate picks is snappy. |

And I think PG's picks are just like any regular 1mm picks actually. That's why I'm just buying any normal 'teardrop' shaped 1mm picks, which you can get at any shop...even the not so great ones.
And I respect how you come very close or probably nailed PG's pick attack in your playing. It's not the pick, it's the player. |

kat jb ni, budak shredder ramai betul. Kadang2 budak2 sekolah je tp main mengerikan. Ada satu hari tu tgh test guitar kat CM music Store kat JB, then masuk sorang budak pakai uniform sekolah menengah. Dia amik ibanez PGM terus main scarified, dream theatre, joe satch.. yg jelesnya dia main kemas sungguh.. yang aku ni puas dah practice arpegeo ke alternate picking ke tp main masih tak kemas .. mcmana nak buat lagi ni? _________________ Gelanggang guitar : http://guitarden.starahead.com |

_________________ 2000 GG Pro Shop American Standard Fender Stratocaster
