I'm in JB and you're absolutely right for the price! As for now, i'm using Roto sound sting or DR.Z.. price just about the same except for DR.Z - RM21.50 at Jusco Tebrau..

orang malas tuka tali camni la jadinye. D'addario bole tahan 2-3 minggu lepas tuh dah rasa cam kureng sket. Elixir bole tahan 3 bulan..serious tak tipu punye. Dan juga bole dapat 009-046 punya size.

ooo.. yg jenis tahan berbulan-bulan ni sesuai la utk mereka yg pakai floyd rose.. hehehe sbb leceh nak tukar string, kan?
aku pakai murah je sbb setiap kali nak show, mesti kena tukar string (sbb lama tak main, tali cepat karat)... mana larat nak beli mahal2 kalau kena tukar selalu!

Elixir Nanoweb strings
- biasanya terkenal dengan tahan lama.
- kata orang bukan tu jer, dia punya feel tali baru tu lebih lama.
- Dia punya woolen gauge ada coating yang menyebabkan daki daki tak boleh lekat pada celah celah nya.
- kira kalo nak show tak payah tukar tali baru.
Nanoweb
- ultra thin coating dan tone dia bunyi macam non-coating ala ala non coating nyer string. Bright punchy
- ne ala ala microskopik ner coating, yang licin bila berlaga dengan fret ,nut or bridge. Somthing like tefon coating kat kuali non sticky or graphtech string saver punya meterial.
Polyweb lebih tahan lama, kureang squek, tone lebih balance tak bright sangat.

tapi aku tak paham perbezaan nanoweb vs polyweb..
care to explain (dlm bahasa yg mudah di fahami)??

terms2 yg aku confius ni: coating.. apa maksud dia "feel like uncoated strings"? strings biasa ada coating ke? atau dia refer pada tali ke 4-5-6 saja?
satu lagi - "sound like strings that have been ‘played in’".. apa kejadah ini semua?? adakah maksudnya tone tali tu mcm tone tali yg dah dimainkan beberapa bulan yg sudah?? sbb sometimes ada guitarist (like myself) yg TAK suka tone tali baru.. terang semacam je bunyi dia.. tak best!

kita permudahkan la zid. dedua polyweb or nanoweb tu lapisan khas bagi tali tu tahan lama. tahan karat. muah lentur, licin.
nanoWeb lebih bright , caractor macam steinless steel string.
polyweb lebih balance, caractor macam nikel nyer string + kurang squek bunyi jari.
Poly n nano stand for coating technology. Ya , nano coating technology.
coating mean lapisan permukaan terakhir yang biasanya berciri sepagai pelindung kepada permukaan2 bawah.
Macam kita beli casing hp ori dan murah. yang murah biasa mudah calar tapi yang ori biasanya susah nak calar.
Tali guitar ada coating?
Tali guitar biasanya nickel sebenarnya bukan la nickel sepenuhnya tapi ia nickel coating. mean lapisan terakhir ia adalah nickel. Begitu juga tali bronze. Logam nickel n bronze belom cukup kuat utk dijadikan tali guitar. Tapi stienless steel boleh tanpa coating sebab logam ne cukup kuat utk regangan tinggi. Biasanya yang coating ne bunyi ia lebih mellow dan yang tak coating macam steinless steel biasanya lebih bright.
Ne ko kena tanya istri ko zid, sebab pasal logam logam dan kimia.... hehhehehe
