frettted bro,

different type of whammy have different feel and sound (tone wise). the range of playing the whammy (tremolo) is different. by putting a whammy pedal, it also have a different feel and approach. instead of using your plams or hand, you are now using your foot. the reaction is the not the same as well.

woof!

fretted bro,

no la bro, not as free as your hand. and the best part, they can produce octave jumps like satch did, which you can't do with your hand. why not have both, makes your life a lot easier...just like joe did.

Sebenarnya, cara main cam mana yang menyebabkan kena pakai gigsby or whammy pedal ne. Sebab ada benyak jisnis lagi benda cam ne tapi dia punya feel dan style main berbeza.

Maybe kalo nak squel macam pantera for sure bigsby tak dapat nak nolong. kalo nak buat otave jump for sure whammy pedal lagi baik. Or nak buat fluter, itu floydrose lagi best.

Maybe, lebih baik kita kena tahu dulu jenis, method, style mana yang kita nak guna. Sebab whammy or tremolo ne ada banyak kegunaan.

fretted bro,

forgot to tell you la...bigsby will never be perfectly in tune, worst than fenders tremolo. so keep it till the end of the song for that final closing dive...btw reference are made for floyd rose type only...at least can save your ass..

ah...i actually wanted to do 60s tremolo/vibrato sounds ala shadows, dick dale,ventures...on a Telecaster.Just thought it would be nice to have the Tele tone with the feature of a Strat's tremolo bar.Since Teles dont have whammy bars,(and those that have, compromised in tone.),im thinking any pedal could help do the "soft" whammy effect?
