Sms <GP> dan hantar ke 32628!

At the launch of the 2005 Grand Prix Challenge, Sepang International Circuit (SIC) chairman Datuk Mokhzani Tun Mahathir has expressed "The Grand Prize of the contest is something to look forward to," when launching the 2005 Grand Prix Challenge at Sunway Pyramid yesterday.

"I would describe this Grand Prix Challenge contest as a new milestone in the promotion of Formula One and motorsports in Malaysia," said Mokhzani.

Organised by Motorsports Alliance, the Grand Prix Challenge, which is a SMS-contest that would run up to March next year, provides a unique opportunity for four Malaysians to undergo a Professional Driving Training programme with Michelin in Europe and drive a specially prepared, real modern day Formula One car as its Grand Prize.

The whole driving training program, sponsored by Michelin under its 'Michelin Driving Experience' program, would be covering driving training in a Porsche GT3, F3, F1 two-seater and the F1 single-seater! This fantastic package provided by Michelin would definitely be an unforgetable experience for the winners.

Open to all users of mobile telecommunications in Malaysia, participants would be tested on their knowledge of Formula One. Apart from the F1 drive, other prizes include trip to the Sauber factory in Switzerland, Hospitality passes for the 2005 Malaysian GP, Grandstand tickets, digital cameras, DVD players, sunglasses and F1 merchandises!

While congratulating Motorsports Alliance for its innovative programme, Mokhzani believed that the Grand Prix Challenge would definitely help significantly increase Malaysians' interest in Formula One.

The Challenge, which is based on Questions & Answer would have points awarded to the participants with every correct answers. The highest 3 participants of each of the 5 Preliminary Rounds would qualify for the Grand Final which would be held one week before the 2005 Malaysian Grand Prix in March 2005.

It's easy to participate, for those who are based in Malaysia, from your mobile phone, just type 'GP' & send the message to 32628 and register yourself, and the Challenge starts there!

If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience, which would effectively become one of your lifetime memory... do it now... this is a chance not to be missed... for a dream come true!
