I have a Squier Standard Telecaster with rosewood frets. Besides thinking of changing the pups, I am also thinking of changing the neck to maple neck. Tele with maple neck is THE look.
Anyway my question is, I like to change to a Fender MIA or MIM maple neck.
1. Will it fit my Squier tele? More drilling and chipping required?
2. Is it as simple as just changing the neck or is there other things to consider also like allignment, set-up, truss rod adjustments and etc?

im guessing you meant rosewood fretboard..

nothing required. popular fender models and all its sub-brand (popular models) have the same neck pocket measurements for the same models. i.e. strats, teles
there are a certain models of fender that are incompatible with a standard model.

just change the neck and do a basic set up.
