Actually there is a school of thought yang kata kalau pakai natural finish (i.e oil finish) is better than painting your guitar with nitrocellulose. Apparently you get the natural resonance of the wood to pop out...

yeah... bassists have known this all along.. Macam Warwick bass guitars...i have always wanted one of those... they just sound so good with natural finish..
As far as guitars go, i would love a Blackmachine guitar. They are naturally finished...and yes - a seven string would be nice. (if i could afford the RM21K pricetag)..see picture below
Oh how I wish I am still working in the UK sometimes...

Halo kepada kawan semua
Saya perlukan panduan disini.
Saya ada sebuah Telecaster Japan yang sgt suka saya main.
Tetapi adalah amat menyakitkan hati bila terasa sangkut-sangkut disebabkan poly neck itu agak sticky apabila hendak move up & down the neck.
Saya ingin kan feel satin finish.
Apalah cara terbaik?
_________________ Web Hosting |

yep, thats very very agreeable. i've read an article regarding vintage violin that uses a kind of leaf with a strange chemical responds (chlorofil kot?) that can give you the best of both world..it protects and beautifies plus delivering the pure tone out of the wood..that is for natural finish looks, but for colour, tak ada option la, unless ko dapat jumpo abroginese kat oustolia tu. they might have some answers for you..
aku pon masih pakai lemon pledge mak aku, bukan meguiars..ha ha ha!
