Dulu aku pernah ada GFX 5, but purposely aku buat trading je benda ni, tak ambik tau pasal patch dia.....

By the way,,,, kalau aku la kan... aku lebih suka create patch sendiri from scratch.... biasanya factory patch tu tak de yang menarik minat aku... lagi pun senang aku nak susun patch2 yang aku suka dalam satu bank, tak kisah multiEF mana pun yang pernah aku pakai

  • Recorded with BC Rich Warlock -> Zoom GFX-5 -> Behringer Eurorack UB805 -> pc with Yamaha Terrasound PCI soundcard.
  • Drive module setting on GFX-5 is the preset "Metal 7th" (Metal drive + Modern variation) with Turbo + Edge key on.
  • Drums were recorded from GFX-5's built-in drum machine. This track contains 5 portion, each with a different cabinet simulation.
  • Cabinet type simulation in order of appearance:
    1. bypass mode (cabinet module off)
    2. Combo
    3. Stack (sounds like Ridzi's Bastard Heavy Tunes!)
    4. Stack + EV Speaker
    5. Combo + EV Speaker

mana ada edit abg Zid Zoomer Laughing Laughing

Ok aku nak bagi tips sikit.. pakai effect apa pun, kalau nak sound sedap masa jamming atau main gig, set sound tu masa jamming guna big amp. Jgn guna sound yg set kat rumah guna headphone atau small amp. Sebab frequency range amp tersebut berbeza. Utk live, frequency yg paling sensitif ialah Treble. So lebihkan tweak pd Bass dan Mid.. treble ni kalau terlebih boleh menyebabkan sound nipis dan mencucuk telinga bila main kuat time jem.

Kalau pakai digital multieffect yg boleh guna as a preamp, aku cadangkan beli behringer Tube Ultragain utk support. (Kalau zoom g7 atau G9 tak payah la sebab mmg dah ada built in tube dalam zoom tu)

I don't think there is a community site for patches for the Zoom GFX-5 unlike the Digitech GNX and the Line6 POD series. You got to learn from the manual itself. I own a Zoom G9.2tt and learning it from the start is such a pain in the ass but once you get hold of it, the MFX alone can do wonders. I personally think my Zoom G9.2tt sounds better and warmer than the Line6 Podx3 maybe because of the tubes in the pedal.

I agree with you... but I IMHO, thats the chances that guitar player had to go with it not line the stomp pedal. The good thing about the stompbox is we can play the knob easily. But for the any Multi Effects, it takes time to configure the patch, In my pass experience of using 4 MFx, it takes me about a month to get the sound that I really wanted to.... and that so sucks long
