aku nak beli pc baru ntuk audio dan salah satu dr spec nya ialah AMD X2
tulung bagi mobo yang sesuai dengan cpu itu dan apa2 lagi tambahan trimas trimas

ish kesian.. dekat sebulan takde orang reply.
ni mender2 AMD ni Jeff yg pakar ni.
anyway, ko pi jek low yat tu. cari kedai yg tak sibuk sangat. ko dok situ tanya lah apa2. tak semestinya kena beli kat situ kan. pastu dah tau amender yg ko kena buat...cari la tempat yg leh dapat harga murah pulak. but selalunya harga rata-rata lebih kurang jek pun kat situ.
aku pun nak beli PC baru. AMD. but dunno lah. thinking of getting a laptop jugak. mobile sket. leh record di tepi pantai... bawah jambatan.. belakang toll booth.. mana2 saja ah kan. bebas mengrekod. eceh.

ala sorry la lambat, mamat ni mesti dah beli dah.
Mobo skang tak de beza sangat, choice would depend mostly on the type machine its use is going to be.
But for an audio workstation sahaja, go for no frills la, get a a good cpu and as much memory yang ko bleh sumbat. U dont have to worry so much about heat buildup much. Aku pakai memory 2 gig pun and running just my 1 main audio editing software, pelan-pelan, dia makan sampai habis memory. Im usually left with just 3 megs when everything freezes up. Everything grinds to halt and its because of lack of memory rather than processing power.
Its when u want to use it for gaming ke or maybe graphics editing then u can think about either an crossfire or sli setup(ati or nvidia) which will determine ur mobo and setup. |

amd 5200+ x2 (1mb cache)
asus m2ne (ok ke?)
2gb ddr2 667
nvidia geforce 8600 GT
lcd 19inch samsung (menatang ni paling mahal)
320gb sata2 hitachi
total rm2800
ok x?

manede aku upgrade lagi.. dah 7 taun beb tak upgrade2 haha.. pas dapat pc baru nih, aku test main Lost Planet, kagum jab tengok graphic.. haha ketinggalan lama sangat..
pasal ram tu, memang aku nak angkat lagi 2 gb pas raya ni.. skang aku tengah rekod band, instrument banyak, bila dah render jadik satu per satu track, tak cukup nak sumbat dlm 2gb tuh! gampangan betul..
so sesapa yang nak beli pc baru ntuk audio, angkat ram 4gb baru bes! sekian trimas

aku baru tambah jadi 2GB RAM dari 1GB. pundek betul. tak banyak beza. dah la aku pakai 512 4 ketul. rugi nye. but at least bleh ler load drumagog kat semua drum tracks. cuma still need more CPU power la rasa nya.
ada sesapa pernah pakai FX Teleport? does it really helps? aku pernah cuba dgn old PC 500MHz. pun macam sikit sangat jek plugin bleh letak. cam tak berbaloi jer.

tulah pernah discuss sekejap dulu.
at first aku try cam.. ok. but then after a while, rasa mcm buang karen jek on kan pc lama aku tu (500MHZ). not sure whether it's my method or what but not getting the results yg digembar gembur kan di kebanyakkan forum.

Ajeep, have you tried buying a big fast hard disk? Because we always, freeze audio tracks in cubase with the efx and eqs used. thats the cheapest way to go. It really takes the load off your cpu. very very convenient and so far it's been very stable. If you are not sure about the mix, just unfreeze and undo the eqs or fxs and then freeze em again.

siut...dah lah beli pc,pehtuh tepon aku belagak..wei,jg sket Asus ko.Asus skang sensitip..mudah rusak..dah 2 kes melibatkan mobo Asus yg baru rosak (pc Apis ngan adik ko,mat perang)

yeah doing that also. but I do think I need to get me a faster HD.
TS recording in progress ah. tanak upload half finished job. nanti Okta serang.
