Hmnnnn sebab Delta 66/44 takde MIDI...I dont think i will be getting either..

After some research, i think this soundcard would be better, the DMX 6FIRE 24/96 by Terratec

read more about it here
http://productsen.terratec.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=3&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0

amongst the features:
-6 Channel (5.1) SoundSystem - Analog and Digital
-Uncompromising 24 Bit / 96 kHz Playback and Recording
-Front-Module (to connect your instruments and MIDI and etc etc)
-Complete Support for A3D, EAX 1.0 and EAX 2.0 Standard

Sounds like a good one...more info to come

BTW...to those starting out to build their own home studio point your browser to www.computermusic.co.uk/basics/basics.asp
You should be able to read everything you need to know about home studio setup, hardware and software wise.

Get reading and educate yourself!!

Yeah i actually subscribe to the magazine...they always give free samples/software CD's on every edition. A very good publication IMHO. Not sure if you can get it in Malaysia though....im sure you can.

ko kata ko ada Audigy? pakai je la Audigy tu...its so much better than my card at least...ASIO 2.0 compliant lagi Audigy tu... i think it also supports 24bit 96Khz recording as well...

well,Creative alwiz have their stuff up with most tempting features...hehe...
nice lar if u want to main games, tengok DVD and do ur music as well..
but mainly for ur recording stuff, it's not as good
the converters are noisy .i have experience SB live b4.
It'll probaly be ok if u can get a "healthy" signal in . keeping the signal far away from the noise floor.
there's just one Audigy model that support 2496 recording.(forgot which..)others just have their spec on 2496 playback...so don't be fool...
haven't tried my hands on the Audigy . takut.... Laughing

previously i was tempted to buy the DMX fire also, but settle for the
M-Audio Audiophile 2496 at last( for some reason:P)

Stop talking out of your arse....I record with a SBLive Platinum...its doesn't support ASIO 2.0, it does not support 24/96 sample rate...but i get good results. So how do you explain that..??

Kalau ko pakai Neve control desk sekali pun...kalau tak reti pakai...tak bole jugak...

emmm....you heard what the MAN said!!! Laughing
SB live cards bukan la teruk sgt seperti yg di gembar gemburkan. Its a good soundcard relative to its price.
(aku pun belajar buat multitracking pakai sblive)
To me,good recroding results rely mainly on how u tweak ur mix.Its an art form/personalskills/experience/etc.
Nevetheless,if u can afford to buy professional souncards...lagi bagus la. Very Happy

Similar mcm main gitar......kalu player tu teruk....bagi PRS sekalipun...bunyi dia akan teruk jugak.Bagi amp mahal pun...bunyi dia akan teruk jugak Very Happy

p/s:no offence intended

cheers!

I think it's good to use the sblive PAudigy zs, i agree with you Ridzi and it's also good juga jika menggunakan soundcard jenama DMX Fire tue untuk para beginners macam saya nie lagi pun berpatutan dengan harga...
