Under certain circumstances, i ended up having the two said above reverb pedals...
So im thinking of which one to keep on my pedalboard and which one to trade or sell off...
Having two reverb pedals is quite redundant no?
So great sifus out there, impart your knowledge on which one I should keep and which one should go...
Personally, i love both of these pedals reverb sounds because as follows...
A) Boss RV-5
Pros -The modulate feature is awesome
-The overall guitar tone seems better to my ears compared to the verbzilla which sucks more tone from the guitar signal
Cons- Limited to 6 reverb types
- Tweaking of parameters cannot achieve 'super spacey atmospheric sounds'
B) Line 6 Verbzilla
Pros- 11 different reverb types
- The Octo setting turns your guitar signal into exactly how an organ/synthesizer/violin would sound(can also nail the sound of the local band 'Furniture')
- The Cave feature turns your guitar signal into an experimental SPACEY sound which is awesome and soothing.
- Tweaking of parameters is very versatile.
Cons- The other reverb types besides Octo and Cave sound very similar.
- Sucks alot of tone
