Sweet tune and sweet tone too! The rosewood really adds to the sweetness of the treble.
What was the mode of recording the guitar? Did you go direct? If yes, with or without speaker simulators? |

Used the bridge pickup for all the parts to bring out the unique Tele twang for the rhythms and that (in)famous squeal on the second leads.
Still fooling around with the tone/volume knobs (vital tone-shaping tools on a Tele, I believe) to find the definitive sweet spot.

Yes, the guitar was DI'd to a Korg D1600 digital recorder. I rarely record with a mic'd amp at home.

The amp simulations and chorus/delay/detune/reverb effects -- variations of flavours found in Korg's ToneWorks series -- are from the D1600, as are the drum parts.
The bass is my trusty ol' Yamaha BB300.  |
