Update:May 24th 2006 - done some fixes to eq and panning, vol, etc. - much more easier on the ears now, hopefully. ------------------------------------- This is a new trip hop tune I started work on today [September 6th around noon]. Still a work in progress, has alot of fine tuning left, panningm and instruments to be added. Was hoping to add some vocals. Although this was done fairly quick, it is still a work in progress, and the way I see it, it's not even 50% done. I do enjoy this tune however as I haven't done any trip hop stuff lately. Alot of melding of strings/orchestra/violin stuff. Bit of hip hop and a slight pinch of jazzy and latin elements. No commercial samples. Drop me a line if you got suggestions. This song uses alot of compressors. I got sick of my 'soft' sounding mp3's. It's been normalized as well so don't turn your speakers up too high hehehe. Remember, this is just a work in progress like 99% of my other stuff :P Enjoy! PS- don't complain to me about panning or how repetitive it is, I'm still working on it. Comprende? Good heh. *update* - done some tweaking, adjusted some levels, still annoyed about that snare, but I've added substantially alot of stuff and variations and it's pretty lengthy now. Guitar was a bit thing, so I beefed it up. did some mastering even though I should finish it before doing that. Tried getting rid of alot of clicks and pops and too much punch and the peaks. Decided not to encode in VBR because running out of space, especially since the song was extended a little bit longer. Keep checking :> | |
