Don't forget to catch FLO, TV3's new talk show for teens which gives out loads of information on the latest movies, fashion trends, current issues & also the coolest bands in Malaysia. The first screening will be on the 24th of June 2006 at 7:00 p.m. on TV3. Sakti is featured at the end of the half hour show. You could also see Sakti playing "aku" on acoustics. Thanks..... Hello everyone. Firstly, welcome to our humble webpage. Things have been really slow for the band. Boy is going for an interview to be an air steward (hahahahahahah, pokoknya pramugari terlampau!. Tunggu VCD keluar), Ajee is on holidays, Ash just started his 3rd semester and Wan is working at Starbucks Johor. Plannings had to be cut short as there is no time for jam sessions except for once a month and the demo had to be pushed to the end of the year. Hopefully, if everything goes well, the demo will be out this year or early next year (we can't promise anything yet) but it will be announced as soon as it's done. Maybe we could even download it to this account. Till then, the band would like to thank you all for dropping by. Take care and stay safe!.

Hiring of lead guitarist

Assalamualaikum, and hello again to all Sakti friends. The band is looking for a new lead guitarist since Ash wants to concentrate on his vocals. Here are some criteria�s the band is looking for..... 1) Must be in the are of Subang, PJ, Kelana Jaya, Shah Alam or if in KL, he / she must have a transport because the band jams in Subang. 2) Must be commited to the band which plays a vital role for the recording & jamming sessions. 3) Must not have an alcohol / drug addiction 4) Experience is not very important as long as he / she posses' good / everage solo skills 5) Willing to share ideas and must be open minded to mistakes, jokes etc... 6) Influences must include bands listed (especially local and Indonesian bands) If any of you are interested or know someone with the qualities listed above, do not hesitate to message us or email the band at saktiband@hotmail.com For further enquiries, please call Ash at 017-3463937. Finally, 5 songs for Sakti's first demo is at the semi finished stage. The demo, includes 2 rock balads; Ruang dan waktu (the band's current favourite) and another which is yet to be named written by Ash's own brother. The demo will be recorded either by the end of this year or by early next year and won't be out untill then, InsyaAllah.

Hey guys, so sorry for the late update on things. The band is abit slow these days because of the current situation they are in so hope you guys understand. The recording will be held in 2 months time and hopefully will be done by the end of the year or so. With the help of Ash's brother, this 5 track demo with Ruang Dan Waktu as the curent favourite will be release hopefully before 2005 so guys, check out for more updates coming to you soon. Hitz.TV talent competition

Do YOU have a band or a vocal group?. Want to win RM20,000 and a recording deal?. In November (about 1 week after Raya), Hitz.TV will be organizing an audition where bands will be chosen to perform every 2 weeks (which will go on untill February 2005) and will be commented on by Malaysian singers. This show will be broadcasted on the channel itself and every band will also be voted by their fans via sms which will ensure if the band is in or not. For every performance, bands will have to play covers and if they are lucky to get into the finals, they would have to play a song of their own plus a cover song. Come December, there will be an addition to the band filling in the position as keyboardist cum back up rythm guitarist which is yet to be confirmed by the end of this month. The fasting month is coming to and end and the band members of Sakti would like to wish you all a Selamat Hari Raya and Selamat Deepavali to all Hindu followers. Do take care, drive safely back home and if there is anything any one of us said, please forgive us. Don't forget to watch out for USJ 13's prom on the 22nd December. This month has been good eventhough slow, yet the band managed to write new guitar reefs (meaning new songs) eversince Ruang dan waktu and Aku. Currently having two new ones; one written by Wan and the other by Ash and Boy. With the new keyboardist hopefully these 4 songs (and more InsyaAllah) will have sound which covers all the gaps which has not been filled. The recording has been postphoned to next year as the members of the band feel that they are not ready for the so called "commercial" world plus the lack of experience in performing live. That explains why they have not posted anything up on the Myspace site. However, do be patient and keep waiting for the release next year. Thank you for the support so far. You guys have been great. Yesterday Sakti played a good 10 minuite set at the SMK USJ 13 prom, Holiday Villa Subang Jaya. After 2 stressfull days of practicing, it had finally payed off. Because the organizers were out of time, they had to cut short to 2 songs which was Aku a composition by the band itself and Muse's version of Can't take my eyes of you. So it's official. Sakti has gotten a keyboardist by the name of Hanim and she is officially in the band. To say the least, in 2 days she learnt all 3 of Sakti's songs and came up with her own ideas of playing them. Well done!. After last night, the band has decided to move the recording session to next year. Maybe after Hanim comes back to Malaysia in June so till then, do keep your support coming. Thank you to those who have been supporting us and to our frien Aie, thanks for helping us get around last night.

Assalamualaikum and hello again to all. Sorry for the late update (once again). As usual, the only gig we've gotten so far is the Bands In Hands Concert on the 5th of February 2005 and the band have decided that we will be playing 2 of our own songs, Ruang dan waktu and Aku. Everyone's busy with work. Wan is working at Johor while the rest are in KL. There has been rumors that he might be moving to KL but that has not been confirmed just yet. There will be a BBQ party at Hanim's house this Saturday....but you guys are not invited....Bahahahaha (Sorry for being so mean). But just try messaging her and who knows, she might invite you to hang around with the band. Take care people and do stay safe. Regards, The band
